Tupelo Honey in Indy has a very clean and cute atmosphere. It’s ideal for a date or a meet up with friends. Our waitress was very sweet and friendly. The food was well-seasoned and delicious. The portion size was perfect – so bring your appetite. I was very disappointed I didn’t get to try dessert, but I’ll be sure to order the banana pudding before leaving Indianapolis. Definitely add Tupelo to your list as a “must visit” while you’re here.

Great food and quick service! The server was friendly but did not anticipate needs she said she was new so I completely understand. However the host had an attitude and was standing on her phone while several tables needed to be bussed but told us 30 min wait. We ended up waiting for about 20 mins. The food was good too but my chicken and waffles were lukewarm, so I assume they were sitting in the window for a sec before the rest of the food came out. Overall good experience and great atmosphere.

Our group was happy with our food. We made a reservation for our group of 5. We ordered a side of the rosemary fried potatoes for the table and they were very good! Service was fast and friendly, and we did not feel rushed to leave by our server, although we stayed and chatted for a bit after eating.
There is construction directly next door, which made for somewhat difficult parking, which is not uncommon when going downtown. We enjoyed our visit!

An overall good experience, large dining area with plenty of outdoor seating. Service was great and we got seated right away on a Sunday before Colts game. However, not the best spot for watching games and has a somewhat limited beer selection. Food was mediocre for the price but service was outstanding. Solid brunch spot with a great location near Lucas Oil Stadium, great spot to go for brunch before Colts games.

The food was fantastic. The biscuits were buttery and the blueberry compote paired well as it was sweet but also mildly tart.

The chicken from the chicken and waffles was fried well (crunchy but not greasy), tender, and flavorful. The sweet and spicy chicken had a nice kick without being overwhelming. I find waffles often overlooked in these types of dishes but here they were fluffy and slightly sweet, so they went perfect with the chicken. Also, the portions were fair for the price.

As for the experience, we didn’t have any complaints. We visited at ~1:30 PM on a Sunday. It was busy but there was only a 15-minute wait. Our server was friendly and attentive and our food was delivered very quickly.

Loved their Chicken & waffle options☺️
I tried sweet and spicy waffles, it did not disappoint. It came with a side of maple syrup. The chicken was perfect and not overpowering the waffles.
My friends tried their famous fried green tomatoes & okra.
The service was welcoming and quick.
Their fancy ambience and menu is worth stopping by more than once

Ok. So I’m from Detroit Michigan on a mini vacation with my man and we stopped by this little gem for a late dinner. He got the shrimp and grits and I got the smothered chicken with Rosemary and Parmesan potatoes and a Caesar salad… yall when I say all of it was so delicious chicken was tender the shrimp and grits had so much flavor with a little kick… so yummy! The atmosphere in the restaurant was a vibe very clean and upscale! If you’re in the Indiana area please check them out.

We’ve been several times. This time was brunch before the Colts/Phins game and brought family from out of town. Everyone loved it! Great brunch, and the gals loved their mimosas.

***As a side note, they have some of the best fried chicken in Indy as they brine it for 18 hours. Winner winner!!

First of all, I am a person who loves good and great tasting food. I loved the food choices and the atmosphere. However, we waited about 10 minutes to be seated, and I was surprised by the lack of seasoning of my food. I did love the berry and biscuits!! The fried green tomatoes were just not good, avoid. They just taste like batter on tomatoes. The shrimp and grits were not seasoned and flavored like the presentation. Like Liar Liar, “I’ve had better!” Overall, the place was nice, but for a $46.00 food bill, the taste did not match for me. I am from Chicago, and the food was not up to par! I still say it is worth the try if you are in the area.
