I believe this is my second time having an experience like this but this time was worse than ever. I ordered a 10 thigh dinner. The fries were good but the actual chicken, I can’t even really call it chicken. I kid you not, It’s almost like someone ate to thighs but left a little bit of meat on it and then dipped it into the batter and re-cooked it. There’s damn near no meat underneath of all this hard, crunchy, barely edible crust. I ordered through Uber eats and it makes me question whether I will be doing that in the future. It 100% won’t be this location. I’ve added video of the “food” I’m about to throw in the trash.

Let’s say it’s a little rough around the edges. I was looking for something close to my hotel and cheaper. Found this and ordered online via toast. It was ready when I arrived, but had trouble communicating that I had a take order. Not sure if it was my Midwest accent or what. It’s in a bit of a rougher neighborhood but that doesn’t bother me. Got the shrimp platter and some collard greens. The collard greens were good, shrimp was good but a bit on the salty side. Lots of food for the price. It was good, just not great.

I went again to have chicken which was very good and the fries were plentiful. Interior is not that great. It is difficult to see the menu. Watch your check because they can wrongly charge you for your order.

From the time that I first found out this place existed I have to we come to love they’re fresh food service is always great. The staff is always friendly. once you’ve tried their food you will definitely get hooked I am so glad they have branched out into the various locations if you have not tried them you are missing out on some great food. My favorite is the Catfish & Shrimp. Their fries are always well seasons you won’t find anybody as good as them.

Food pretty good. The cashier was a little rough and I wasn’t sure if he understood everything that was said to him. But overall food HOT AND FRESH. Nice little hood spot with good fried chicken and sides. Ice tea with lemonade was AMAZING!!!!

I wish I could give you guys no stars I wish I could post a picture but I order fish and my fish and everything seemed okay I Was actually enjoying it but I’m actually a very picky person no matter what I eat I don’t eat from everywhere but my fish was not properly cleaned you know with fresh fish you have to shave the scaley stuff off before cooking it and they failed to do it I’m very disappointed allot of my family go there but I won’t go there anymore check your fish when you eat it I was order 15 3 lake trouts and fries and I actually bought a sweet potato pie but I don’t want it after seeing this now I gotta throw my food away

I Sent someone to get some Lake Trout for Me on 5/21/2025 after 5p.m. The fish was old, dried out, and very hard! They gave the Person I sent some old dried out chicken as well. The manager did say I could bring the food back and get more however, the person I sent was paranoid thinking they would do something to the food. I never have a bad experience at the Baltimore National Pike Route 40 location. If I would have went Myself this would not have happened because learning from bad past experiences, I Always check My food before I leave the store!!! With prices going up on everything, I don’t have a dime to waste!!! This location will Not get any more business from Me
