If you’re in Seminole Heights and haven’t stopped by Lee’s Grocery, you’re seriously missing out. This place is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a warm, neighborhood vibe that makes you feel right at home. It’s the kind of spot that reminds you why you love living in Seminole Heights in the first place.
The beer selection is thoughtfully curated, with fresh items and unique finds you won’t see in big chain stores. The pizza is made fresh to order. You can tell the owners really care about quality and about serving the community.
What truly sets Lee’s Grocery apart, though, is the customer service. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help or offer a recommendation.

Where to start? Authentic neighborhood pizza joint in the middle of a residential swath of Tampa Heights. Small regular crew of employees, whose family and friends come to visit. People waving out the window to people they know biking outside… Phenomenal, pizza, great beer, and where else can you get a Chimay Blue at a place playing football games on TV? Absolutely love everything about it, and restored my faith in humanity.

We popped into Lee’s Grocery on a weekend night for a quick dinner and ended up staying longer than planned, it’s that good! The space is small and unassuming, but it was completely packed, buzzing with energy and filled with locals who clearly know this spot is a winner.
Don’t let the surrounding neighborhood throw you off—this place is absolutely worth a visit.
We grabbed seats at the bar and started with the cheese bread, which was fine (a little average), but things quickly leveled up. We tried the pizza of the week—a delicious combination of sausage, roasted red peppers, and balsamic drizzle—and it was outstanding. We also ordered the white pizza and the BBQ chicken, and every pie was spot-on. The crust is what really stood out: crispy, perfectly seasoned, and baked to perfection.
They offer a great selection of beers on tap, ciders, and self-serve cans, plus a handy water station if you need a reset between slices. Bonus: they have Delirum Red! The ambiance is laid-back but full of personality—think cool, local hangout with great food and no pretension.
A must-visit if you’re a pizza lover or just looking for a chill, satisfying night out in Tampa.

This place is kind of on a sketchy street BUT the area it’s in is DEFINITELY cleaning up. I was a little scared to go in and taken back by the lack of parking, but once I was in there I felt safe! Their pizza is very delicious and the dough… the dough is AMAZING!!!! I don’t know how they keep it so moist and stretchy at such low elevation here!!! Staff is nice, wings were great too! Love the vibe in there!

The pizza was good, the beer was good …restaurant cleanliness is sketchy, staff is not very friendly unless you have a dog or kids with you. The outside seating is nice, but the tables are never cleaned. When I asked for it to be wiped down, she came back with a dry towel and attitude and never wiped the space in front of me. Unfortunately we had already ordered.
Staying at a BNB in the neighborhood, would have liked to have gone back next week, but evidently not wanted.

Wings were overdone, dry, and not very flavorful. Pizza crust was also a little dry. Servers were great and great beer selection. Maybe we got them on a bad night.

Hidden gem of a neighborhood pizza joint and bottle shop. Craft beer, wine, THC bevs and friendly staff. Tara (pronounced Tar A) was sweet. Music was on point and her beer knowledge was appreciated. The wings are baked not fried. Delicious! I was in the mood for beer and enjoyed a few west coast doubles. Shop small business and support this spot! Thanks for what you do!
