Absolutely delicious, authentic Indian dinner! We came in as a party of two and everything we ordered was packed with flavor and made fresh.
We started with the vegetable samosa and lentil soup (we went spicy—about a 7–8/10—and it was perfect). The garlic naan was warm, soft, and exactly what you want for scooping up every last bite. The yellow dal was comforting and smooth (mild, 1/10), and the lamb tikka masala was the star—rich, tender, and OMG hot (10/10) in the best way.
Also appreciated the Taj and sparkling water to balance the heat. If you’re looking for real, authentic flavor and don’t mind turning up the spice, this place delivers. We’ll definitely be back!

Ample parking. Well lit for everyone to find location. Outdoor dining option noted. Food was delicious not at all the watered down Indian food. Accommodating to allergies just make them well known before placing your order.
Pricing is decent as well.
We dined in for dinner time. They have booth sitting options.
Super nice staff. Management came out and checked on all customers to make sure things were going good.

While visiting Daytona for a family event we were taken to this restaurant for lunch. We took the Lunch Buffet option. I was amazed by the quality of the food, from the chicken biryani to the samosas, the desserts, I had a delicious meal, every single item was full of flavor. The service was outstanding, the chef even came out to every table to greet everyone. Highly recommended.

After spending a wonderful day at Daytona Beach, including the unique experience of driving on the sand, we worked up quite an appetite. Around 2:00 PM EST, we headed straight to Ammrit Indian Cuisine. Typically, the kitchen closes around that time and they switch to buffet service, but the staff was incredibly humble, generous, and welcoming. Despite the late hour, they happily accommodated us with the à la carte menu, which immediately set a positive tone for our visit.
The restaurant itself has a warm, inviting vibe with a simple yet pleasant ambiance. There’s plenty of seating available, and parking is very easy—no need to circle around or worry about finding a spot.
As we settled in, we ordered chili garlic shrimp and grilled salmon as appetizers. A thoughtful touch that really stood out was the staff offering warm water for my wife due to her sore throat—small gestures like this truly reflect great hospitality.
The chili garlic shrimp came in a light gravy, cooked perfectly, and paired wonderfully with the grilled salmon. The salmon was served as two thick, well-grilled fillets, accompanied by plenty of vegetables—fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. For the main course, we ordered shrimp biryani, which was outstanding. The rice was soft and aromatic, and it included 5–6 jumbo shrimp, cooked just right. The portion size was generous—easily enough for three people. Those with a very hearty appetite might consider ordering two biryanis.
The food had authentic Indian flavors with no compromise on taste. It wasn’t overly spicy by default, so I’d recommend clearly mentioning your preferred spice level—we opted for Indian spice level, and it was spot on.
They also offer a lassi flight, which includes six different flavors—perfect for trying a variety in one go. Overall, the menu has a wide range of options, catering to different tastes.
Based on our experience, I would highly recommend Ammrit Indian Cuisine to anyone looking for delicious Indian food with excellent hospitality. Whether you’re stopping by after a long day or simply craving good Indian flavors, this place won’t disappoint.

I’ve been to almost every Indian buffet in Central FL and let’s just say that this isn’t a particularly memorable one. They had a fair number of different food options on the buffet line to choose from, but only a few that seemed tasty to me. Their curries were fairly thin, not rich and creamy like I prefer. The naan was subpar, lukewarm and plain. And the real reason for their 2 star review is the desserts, which were truly bad. The fruit custard was inedible, like they forgot to add the sugar or something because it wasn’t sweet at all. The kheer was extremely watery and also not very sweet. The halwa was dry and crumbly. None of the desserts had a strong cardamom or ghee presence, which is unfortunate. All in all just not a very tasty meal, and it was fairly expensive too, especially for Volusia County.

Stopped on my birthday, kinda late dinner. We had saag pander but by another name and a mixed tandoori platter that was huge. It was all good and topped off with a mango lassi could not have been better. I see they still do buffet I’d love to try that sometime.
