I absolutely love this coffee shop! It is so cute and cozy, and has the most welcoming atmosphere. This is truly the only coffee shop in Mobile that I never get tired of; I visit weekly and look forward to it every single time.
The coffee is consistently outstanding just excellent every time I order. The staff is incredibly friendly and always so nice, which makes the cozy environment feel even more like home. I am so thankful we have this gem in our city. If you’re looking for high-quality coffee and a warm, friendly vibe, this is the place to be!

Great coffee shop near the shopping center. The staff were nice, the shop itself was quiet and a nice atmosphere to work, nice seating options, plenty of drinks and pastries available, and some nice coffee beans and accessories they have to purchase. The lemonade and the coffees were refreshing and delicious for a hot day. Highly recommend this coffee shop near the shopping center!

I didn’t review the food, because I had a plain black coffee and sat in one of the comfy chairs to draw for a little bit. This is a cute little coffee shop and a house near the college, so it’s packed for a good reason. A couple of good reasons actually. If you are looking for a place to just enjoy being around other people who are enjoying being in a coffee shop then this is the place to go, but if you’re looking for a quiet place to have a meeting or catch up with a friend, this may be a little too busy for you.

A nice local coffee shop, that gives you to service and atmosphere that you don’t get at a chain coffee shop. The orders were made quick and there is plenty of space inside and outside. They roast beans on site
and I grabbed a bag to take back home. The smell of fresh coffee hits you in the face as soon as you enter. Wifi was pretty stable as well.
If we’re in town again we know where to go to chill out

LOVE coming here while in town- such a cute coffee shop built inside an old Mobile house. Just short of 30 years of being in business. There’s tons of tables- probably about 15 within the front and back of the house there’s 2 little seating areas as well. The coffee was fresh and my king cake muffin was so yummy! The staff is super helpful.

There is no drive through, it’s hard to find a parking spot, and there is always a line inside — and it is infinitely worth it. This isn’t a review, it is a love letter to coffee shops that have held on to the way things used to be done. This place still has the same vibe that coffee shops did in the 90s: cozy, relaxed, and inviting. There are oversized leather couches and chairs. The music playing will be something like Phoebe Bridgers. The staff is friendly. They take their time to make your latte, and it tastes perfect every time. Nothing about this place says “Take your coffee and get out.” In a world where coffee shops feel more and more sterile and designed for discomfort to increase turnover, a cozy coffee experience feels invaluable. Never change, Carpe. You are worth the wait.

Stopped here on our road trip for some coffee. It was around 10 AM on a Sunday and it was packed. Waited a while in line, but didn’t have to wait very long for our coffee and muffin. Coffee was strong, which is great! But the cranberry muffin was a bit dry. I think I would’ve enjoyed this more spot if it were less crowded. Overall, pretty OK pit stop for coffee.

I really wanted to love this coffee shop due to all the glowing reviews. However, I left disappointed. The atmosphere at this shop is really nice, but it’s packed (that’s not a huge issue). It’s like being at your grandma’s house for a family party – cozy with nowhere to sit. The staff was friendly despite being slammed and churning out orders kind of slowly.

By far the worst sweet treats I have ever had because everything tasted stale like the inside of a refrigerator. I ordered a rice krispie treat, a key lime pie, and a tiramisu, so it’s not like I tried one “off” item. They were all bad. The rice krispie treat was no longer crisp, but slightly soggy with the stale fridge taste. The key lime pie would have been fine if it didn’t taste like stale fridge. The tiramisu had the same issue.

I also ordered one iced and one hot drink. These were mediocre. My dine-in cappuccino came with thee foam deflated in a paper cup. The specialty latte I ordered tasted burnt even after the ice melted and mellowed everything out.

Overall, I think this is a really cute shop located in a nice part of Mobile, AL perfect for studying or people-watching, but the drinks and sweets are just not good. To their credit, pricing is competitive.

Had a fantastic latte here while visiting town, so much so that I came back the next morning prior to my flight leaving.

The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I brought in my own thermos to save them a cup and they gladly made my pour in it.

They have two nice porches you can sit out on and enjoy the weather, but there is ample seating inside as well.

If I’m back in town, I know where to find a good brew.
