Went with a friend group! Food was amazing! We had the Duck Confit, Lamb, Salmon and Risotto. We all liked our dishes so much so that we all ordered doubles to take home to our families. The dessert chocolate chip cookie was delicious. Yummy! The service was warm and friendly. Highly recommended. Btw, went in a Wednesday evening so it wasn’t so busy.

After loving their original spot in Wading River, I was pumped to check out this location near my area and it totally lived up to the hype! They did an incredible job transforming the old brewery into a classy, cozy space. The duck confit was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. I’m already planning my next visit to explore more of the menu

What a gem. I love LA plage in WR and now they’ve opened a.bistro on the south shore in Bellport Village. What a great staff, friendly and knowledgeable. The drinks were off the hook. Decaf Espresso Martini and a Chocolate Martini for dessert. A great way to cap off our night. Next time we will try the delicious French cuisine. Everything is exceptional. I’d like the lights dimmed a bit, my only critique. Beautiful design! Tell em Barsnobs sent ya!

We went for lunch one day, restaurant was empty except for one other guest. One server working. I bit too pricey for my liking, $100 for lunch for two people. Tea was cold, food was ok. Mashed potatoes did not taste like they were homemade. The inside is beautifully redone, tasteful decor. ‘French cuisine’. Sorry to say but will not be back.

Had a wonderful dinner at La Plague tonight. Kevin was our waiter. He knew every food description so well It was almost difficult to decide on what to eat. Really enjoyed everything about the experience and look forward to going again.

We were looking forward to a wonderful dinner as we always had at the Wading River location. Unfortunately we were disappointed. I ordered a glass of Beaujolais and I received a glass of wine with pieces of cork and other things floating around. They did exchange it but no apologies were offered. We ordered their famous Wading River Moules and Frites and the Brioche Crusted Salmon. The moules were tasteless with a very bland sauce, the frites were so salty that they were inedible and the salmon had no Brioche or seasoning set on an undercooked bed of vegetables. We ask for bread and we expected some French baguette, however we were served with a board of some bread accompanied by extremely salted butter and black olives in more salted brine. We also asked for a side order of Pot o’truffled Mushrooms and we were served a sauce with 2 smashed mushrooms, not what we expected.
Overall, a disappointing experience. We will continue to go to the Wading River location, but never the Bellport Bistro.

LOVE IT HERE! This place is the BEST spot in Bellport! AMAZING food, good vibes, iconic service and fun cocktails. Fun for cocktails Friday nights. Only point of feedback is that I would recommend dimming the lights a bit more at night. Excited for brunch to come to the menu this fall.

Went to La Plage for an early Sunday dinner with my wife, we were blown away. What a great experience we had. Food top notch, atmosphere was great and service was exceptional , wish I could remember the name of the young lady that served us(sorry). Even the desert was awesome I believe it was called burnt cheese cake. We are definitely going back.

Outstanding menu, staff, ambience and excellent bar. Best beef bourguignon, escargot, and Seafood plateau (cracked crab, oysters, shrimp, clams) in Suffolk County. We’ve dined here 8 times since opening — 10/10 every time.

Review is a bit delayed but finally getting around to it. I love their Wading River location and high hopes for this location. My review is not based on the food as I did not have opportunity to try, rather based on my experience. Anyway our party had reservations for party of 3 at 6:30 pm on 8/20/25 (under S. Clancy) Arrived at 6:15pm restaurant was packed and no hostesses. 10 mins later a employee from behind the bar who was very much multitasking came to hostess stand and “checked our party in”, stated it would be a few. We sat in the waiting area. As parties kept arriving and no one to check them in. At one point there were 3 parties waiting for a hostess and no one was there. One party just left because it was raining and they had no where to stand. They were asking our party if we had seen a hostess, we explained only momentarily and not since. Fast fwd my party waited until 7pm (45 mins since arrival and 30 mins past our reservation) and no one ever came back to hostess stand so we left and went elsewhere. The parties that were waiting as well were there at least 20 mins before we left and still were waiting for a hostess. Seems like they were having staffing issues or unable to handle the volume.
