My husband and I went for the Wizard tea during lunch. The food, service, and atmosphere were excellent! We arrived a few minutes early for our reservation and were seated immediately. The little sandwiches were creative and delicious. They had a lot of little extra touches including Harry Potter stickers, wizard theme candies to take home, and sorting hat mini cupcakes with different color fillings. Highly recommend a visit to The Tea Kettle!

We arrived early and were genuinely excited for our visit. The front desk reception set a great tone—warm, sweet, and welcoming. I had made a reservation in advance and clearly noted that we were celebrating a birthday.
Once seated, our anticipation quickly faded. Our server asked us to look over the menu and said she would be right back. She mentioned it was our first time and told us to select our tea from the tea service menu at the table, but then took quite a while to return. When she did, her service felt lackluster—she said the right words, but her demeanor suggested otherwise.
She brought the tea, said “enjoy,” and walked away without providing sugar, honey, cream, or even water. I had to get sugar myself and ask another passing waitress for honey and cream. Eventually, she returned with the three-tier food tray, placed it directly in the middle of the table (blocking our view of each other), quickly asked if we needed anything—without pausing for an answer—and walked away again.
There was no explanation of the tiers, no guidance on how to enjoy the items, no tea recommendations, and no mention of additional menu options. Throughout the service, she passed by our table multiple times with little to no acknowledgment. Although she occasionally asked if we needed anything, it felt more like a gesture than a genuine offer of service.
The special birthday requests I had noted in the reservation were completely overlooked. To add to the disappointment, some dishes were chipped, the teapots were visibly stained inside, and no one asked how we wanted our tea steeped. As a result, our second pot of tea was essentially colored water.
Given the price point, this was an extremely disappointing experience and far from the high tea service we expected. They also added 20% for a service charge even though it says that they will charge 20% for a party of 6 or more, insult to injury

I came here for my 25th birthday and it’s become my favorite place. The atmosphere is so peaceful and calming and really makes you feel like you can slow down and enjoy company or even just a good book! The food we amazing and the service by Frankie was so great. She was kind and know a lot about the teas.
I’m a huge tea collector and tea head and their tea 100% didn’t disappoint! Definitely try the orange vanilla cream and the Persephone!!

I visited last weekend with my sister and niece for some prom dress shopping. Although we didn’t have a reservation, we were warmly greeted and seated promptly. When asked for drink recommendations, the kind server suggested a cinnamon tea, which reminded us of the tea my mom used to make for us as kids. We then enjoyed a light turkey sandwich, which was perfect for our shopping plans afterward. The ambiance was beautiful, like being in a vintage treehouse for a tea party. I would definitely make reservations if I can find the time to return.

The food was delicious, the tea was really good, and the service was honestly the kind you don’t see much anymore, just genuinely kind people who seem happy you’re there. Jersey graciously welcomed us to the delightful Tea Kettle Cafe as we took in the charm of their new wine bar, The Mad Hatter. He arranged for us to sit on the patio, where the atmosphere was simply magical—soft lights danced around us, and a gentle breeze added a whimsical touch to our evening.
From the moment we walked in, every detail was attended to. Jersey provided us with outstanding service, treating us like honored guests throughout our visit. The dishes were culinary masterpieces, bursting with exquisite flavors and creativity, while the wine selection was equally impressive, enhancing our dining experience perfectly. Every sip and every bite was savored, creating an unforgettable evening we will always treasure.
This is now one of our new favorite restaurants and plan to come here more often!

I’ve been a regular customer for several years and this Tea Kettle Cafe is my “Go to” for special occasion lunches with girlfriends or hosting events. The tearoom is centrally located directly on Main Street with both free street parking and a free parking lot around the corner and within walking distance. As you would expect, the tearoom specializes in tea! Their tea menu is 3 pages long, and includes their House Blend Tea, which is a delicious Cinnamon Spice combination. They also offer, with a reservation, their traditional “High Tea” afternoon lunch. This is a set menu with a variety of 5 tea sandwiches, 1 scone with clotted cream and preserves, fruit, and 3 mini assorted desserts. They even have creative offerings for children. These delicious treats arrive on a 3-tiered tray and include a pot of tea for each guest. Although their regular lunch and dinner menu is fantastic, this special lunch has always been my favorite. The staff and owner are super nice and the tearoom is beautifully decorated. Treat yourself and stop by.

The only noteworthy unpleasant thing was out of the restaurants control, I won’t hold them for that. A party arrived for a reserved tea service and ended up sat next to me. They were …. let’s say not quiet. They weren’t exactly screaming but I certainly know more about them than I ever wanted to know.
Overall I would recommend going, but if your entire afternoon plan is a good pot or two of tea and a book well…. other people exist, so be prepared to have a backup plan.

This place is a total rip-off! $200 for 4 people….4 cheap, stale-bread sandwiches, 4 dry scones with only 1 teaspoon of butter and jam for all to share….2 pots of tea in chipped containers…some thawed frozen mini ecclairs….Dirty bathroom. Rude staff. Total waste of time and money. The good reviews must be from friends.
**IN RESPONSE TO OWNER: No, we were not “offered” more tea during our visit. We were told at the beginning “we can only bring two pots of tea for the table” eith no further explanation….? We were offered it at the end upon receiving our check….too late (the 2 pots we had were good though and would have liked more); to clarify, when the owner was alerted about the allergy to egg whites and asked if just the one egg salad offering could be switched with another sandwich, she argued with the customer that it would just be omitted and not replaced…? After sone discussion, she reluctantly brought another replacement. For the price, this should not have been an issue. Customers being offered very dry scones should each have their own teaspoon of butter per scone to begin with….they should not have to flag down a waitress to ask for it…..again, considering price of $50 pp ($38 plus already added 20% tip for party of 4). Also, the only rude staff member was the owner, not the waitress….she was friendly and apparently just following orders.
