A perfect spot for coffee lovers. This outstanding cafe roasts their own beans, and the coffee tastes amazing. The seating area is spacious and stylish, with a cool industrial loft design. The roasting machine is inside the café and feels like part of the décor. The atmosphere is chic and chill, and street parking is available.

PGH LIVE MUSIC recommended me to this place. A great local coffee shop you should be supporting. I’ll be honest the woman behind the counter seem like she was having a bad day but I just love this coffee. I love the vibes here. It’s like a nostalgic coffee roaster shop. You will not be disappointed. Also very friendly prices

Coffee is roasted in house and tastes great. I loved the coconut overnight oats with blueberries as well.

Bonus points: Really cute cups from a local potter (Andrew Jowdy) who has a studio just a few minutes down the road – planning to check that out tomorrow!

Super modern looking place with big windows and lots of light! Pretty crowded with people doing work, not exactly the coziest place to hang out.

The coffee here is super solid, with some nice seasonal picks too! I do find them a little pricy, esp on the food side. I found the breakfast burrito a bit overhyped and small, though the egg, hash brown, and ham were pretty good as a combination. Was not a fan of the sauce they gave with it, kind of had no flavor at all, and wanted more of a toast in the outside, but they do cook the inside stuff well.

Overall, would say worth it for a good coffee drink!

Our favorite coffee shop in Pittsburgh! In an industrial part of town, KLVN is a coffee shop in a spacious, design-forward building. Walk inside and order a coffee or latte. My maple latte was the best I’ve had. They also sell a few pastries like croissants. There’s plenty of seating and outlets. Restrooms are in the back.

This place is absolutely perfect. The atmosphere is totally unique for the Pittsburgh area and honestly is enough to keep me coming back, but then there’s the coffee. I had the Cappuchino and while the foam was a little weak the drink itself was superb. It was one of those experiences where it got better the more you had. The staff was charming and beyond pleasant. Overall it’s been the most memorable coffee shops I’ve been to in a very long time.

I actually want to give it 4.5 stars, but since you can’t do that, I’m giving it 4. It scores full point in ambience anaesthetics. Probably the largest cafe I have been to in Pittsburgh size wise, and also very modern and minimalist. The minimalism does get in the way of comfort sometimes, because the seating isn’t exactly very comfortable. The space is super bright on good sunny day. This is solidly in the hip category of cafes and everyone in the cafe, at the same time with us seem to be a working professional, either grabbing coffee with their colleagues or just working in the cafe. I guess this would make a good place to work for if you’re looking to work from a cafe. Now coming to tea coffee itself, it was very average for me. I had an iced latte, which was good. not great, but not bad either. My friend had a cold brew which she liked as well. We also ordered a Pain au chocolate go with it which was pretty bad. It was stale and cold.. I have had much better croissants in other places in Pittsburgh. Also, not getting proper ceramic mugs for a dine in order is a pet peeve of mine, and they seem to only have takeaway plastic and paper mugs for all their orders. If I had to sum up this place, this is somewhere you go when you have to get some work done and not a place you go when you want to just read a book.

The atmosphere is good if you live close and want to come hang with friends or get some work done on your computer. I feel like this is what most people want out of a coffee shop’s vibe. The coffee on the other hand is lackluster and we were very underwhelmed. We got a Latte and an Americano which tasted like dirt water and milk. Could just be personal preference, but this place is definitely not for everyone.

We visited here on a weekend afternoon. It was quiet and not crowded.

We ordered a pour-over and a hot matcha latte. You can pick your beans for the pour-over — we went with El Vergel Estate. It smelled like caramel and tasted kinda like sweet potato. Super smooth and not too acidic.

The matcha latte was really nice too! They actually whisk the matcha. It came in a big bowl and looked great.

Quiet place, easy parking, great drinks. Definitely coming back!
