Excellent food, drinks and service. Our server was a male that was super kind, we came on a Tuesday morning and there was no wait and the food was fairly speedy. Lots of pictures opportunities, especially near the bathroom. Nice spot to take the girlies to brunch. Most spots that are decorated like this usually have poor food, but their food has large portions and good quality. The red chilaquiles were spicy, and the steak was zesty. I loved my side of potatoes, and my pancakes were delicious. So were the eggs and bacon. I think people expect an extreme Latino vibe, which isn’t necessarily far from what this place offers but it’s also French themed, so keep that in mind. The bathroom was decorated as well, very cute.

This is the cutest little spot ever all of the ambience is really good for photo apps. The food is OK. I’ve had much better but the designer coffee or lattes are really cute and the French toast is exceptional. Cool place to check out if you go too fast you’ll miss it. It’s a really cozy and intimate spot do I highly recommend no but if you’re in the area and you want some good French toast and a really cute latte

This was a very disappointing experience. My friend and I chose this restaurant for Valentine’s Day specifically because of the theme and ambiance. The space itself is small and cute, which we appreciated, but unfortunately the service and food did not meet expectations.
The macaroni salad appetizer was bland and lacked flavor. We both ordered salads, and after waiting about 30 minutes, we still had not received our food. When we did receive our food we had to ask for it to go, since we had other plans. Although the restaurant was full when we arrived, we noticed that most tables around us were already eating, so we were confused as to why two salads were taking so long.
We later found out that our food had been ready for quite some time and was simply sitting there. Our server had failed to bring it to us. While they comped a dessert and a water, we still paid $44 for two salads and a drink, which felt disappointing given the circumstances.
Additionally, the restaurant was extremely loud. There was live music which made it very difficult to have a conversation.
To make matters worse, the food ended up giving us stomach issues afterward. Overall, this was not a pleasant experience, and to say we will not be going back is an understatement.

Le Coco in Downey, CA is a must-visit! The chilaquiles were absolutely amazing—full of flavor and perfectly prepared. The service was excellent, and the ambience made the experience even better. I truly recommend the food, the service, and the overall vibe. You will definitely enjoy a great meal here!

Super cute, lots of photo ops. Service was super friendly, welcoming and attentive. The food portion was generous and it was delicious! From the pancakes to the French toasts and chilaquiles with steak. Everything was amazing. Will definitely go back. Can’t wait to try their dinner menu!

I ordered the green chilaquiles with scrambled eggs. They were good, but I definitely missed having beans with my breakfast-I’ve never had this meal without beans at a restaurant so I thought it was kind of weird. The portion was huge but drowning in salsa so the chips became soggy pretty quickly. I don’t think I’d order this dish again. My mother had a breakfast plate with pancakes and she enjoyed her meal. I also had a strawberry liquado (shake) which was yummy. I did think the food/drinks were over priced for the quality though. I paid $16/17 for chips, salsa and eggs and $7 for the shake The place is cute and the staff was nice and attentive but I don’t know that I’d come back. Our total was about $47 for 2 people plus tax and tip.

New brunch joint in downey. It’s definitely a spot to take a date or your spouse.
Area: Located on lakewood Blvd in downey across from the lakewood plazas.
Parking: has its own free parking structure in front. Plenty parking.
Dine area: diner is split into two sections when you come in. Each section has up to 6 tables. The entire place is very well decorated. Very pink! In a good way. It’s definitely a good spot to take pictures for social media purposes. Flowers all over the wall. It’s definitely a vibe.
Food: We got their mimosa flight to start off. The presentation is amazing. I got there chilaquiles plate with stake. Bomb! My spouse got there a skinny plate with egg whites. And we shared some French toast. Very flavorful. I did notice their breakfast menu is limited. Recommend to check the menu to see their options
Service: Servers were very friendly. The chef came out to check on customers. Love that type of interaction.
Price: Each entree averages around 20 dollars, including tax.
We came here for breakfast, but I noticed they also have a good selection of seafood for lunch or dinner. I gotta come check that out

We requested water twice after ordering this giant mimosa tower but we were told they only offer bottled water. This is such a poor business practice, quite greedy really, and in this heat too. They either have dirty water that’s unable to be served or are just desperate to up-charge their customers. The mimosa tower cost $150 but it was NOT worth it. You’re better off ordering each mimosa separately and ordering flights as the tower is not cost efficient in any way. They’ll also add a 3% fee for both debit and credit card purchases as an fyi. I’ve visited this restaurant for over a year now and I’m so unimpressed with it lately. I was initially so excited to bring my friends but we were underwhelmed. Decorations I used to love now look so cheapened (ex. ceiling decor above the bar looked cheap, leaves wrapping the tower looked cheap). The food was received quickly, although the carne asada was such a small portion, and we were seated quickly without a reservation so points for that still. All in all, it’s just no longer worth the hype sadly.

Cutest place I have ever been! If you want a cute girly time out, this is the place! The decor is over the top but so adorable and very well out together. The way they serve their coffee is to die for. The chilaquiles was off the hook! I am definitely bringing my daughters here.
The only reason I gave a 4/5 rating is due to service, it’s so-so and kind of slow. Servers here are forgetful and don’t check on how their table is doing (it usually isn’t busy at all when I go). And on another day my coffee kept coming out barely lukewarm and with coffee grounds in it.
Regardless I will come every time I need my fill of cuteness!!
