Reviews
We ordered the beef skewer, papaya salad (no spicy), and the basil fried rice.
The beef skewer is a must get! Charred very well but still soft. It came with a side of their house sauce (seemed like fish sauce) and paired well.
As for the salad and the fried rice, they were good but missing some flavor. Perhaps it was because the salad was ordered with no spice. For both dishes, we ordered chicken as the protein. The chicken seemed like it was boiled and was very white / had no flavor. I wish it was somehow grilled like the beef skewer, as it would enhance the overall flavor of the dishes.
I think this location has potential, but just may have to order the right dishes
* traop ang – definitely one of their most popular dishes for good reason
* duck curry – I’m a fan of duck and it’s only here I can eat it with curry
* samlor katis – first time to try this fish curry soup and it’s a new fave!
* cha kathiw – we’ve tried all 3 noodle dishes from here and this is our favorite
Highly recommend!
Spicy Papaya Salad, refreshing and light, the thinly sliced, unripened fruit has the taste and texture of radish.
Prawn Salad, same dressing, but served with cabbage and mint.
Mporn Slarp Moarn, chicken wings stuffed with ground pork and vermicelli then deep fried, a well-spiced and flavor-forward appetizer.
Beef Skewers, tender marinated, slightly sweet and succulent, a must.
Reason I gave them 4 stars (I should say 4.5), because it took longer than expected wait time for cooking the food. At least 30 minutes for 1 appetizer and 1 dish. It’s kind of a long wait. However, the taste was good, and their service is fast and nice.
Their appetizers were quite expensive than I expected in the area.
The restaurant is not that big, so in the weekend could be longer wait time.
One thing is a plus that, they do accept Tap payments, which is huge deal for someone like me. Just go to their counter and ask for it.
Warm and friendly service. Very new, clean, and cozy atmosphere.
