Venturing into a culinary escapade at “Surise 2” became a highlight for our group, especially for our friends visiting from Baltimore. This dining experience was more than just a meal; it was a journey through delectable Thai cuisine that left a lasting impression. The unexpectedly light and non-greasy fried rice not only surprised us but also became an instant favorite among our party. Our customary Pad Thai “litmus test” received high marks, adding to the overall positive vibe of the evening.
The standout moment, however, was the owner’s generous gesture of gifting us a serving of crab Rangoon on the house. This unexpected treat showcased the restaurant’s commitment to ensuring a memorable experience for its patrons.

This is the whitest, mushiest, blandest pad see ew I’ve ever experienced! Uhh I should’ve known it would be… Nevermind! My peeps know what I mean… Only good restaurants are the American out this way. I guess this is my fault expecting “authentic” from a Main Line restaurant. They have to cater to the tastes to survive out here I’ll definitely stop trying and just head to Chinatown when I have a craving. With this economy every dollar counts.
As you can see… I don’t recommend and I won’t order again.

The thai restaurant that was there before was very sentimental to us, so my partner and I are happy that another one filled its place.
The food was veryyyy delicious. It’s a fresher variation of Thai food than many restaurants I’ve been to. We tried a wide array of items and were thoroughly impressed with everything.
Chicken wings were very crispy. The salad was fresh and delicious. The entrees were very lovely.

Hard to find good Thai food these days and this place was great! Person at the counter was genuinely happy and the pad thai was great. Medium spicy was not “burn your face off spicy,” they did not skimp on the peanuts, and the portion was more than enough for two.

Ordered take out pad thai. Lime was dry, sauce was too sweet and tofu was deep fried. Left most of it for the landfill. Sorry but $18 for pad Thai with tofu, no vegetables was a waste of time and money. What’s for lunch?

Went to Sunrise 2 for dinner Sat night, it was delightful. It was only the third day (at this location). The soups we fresh, flavorful and plentiful. The entrees were equally delightful. The staff was pleasant, efficient and attentive. The price was very reasonable. We will go back!!

We had the pleasure of dining at Sunrise and were very pleased with our dinner. The food was excellent and service was quick. Our food was delivered hot and delicious. We would recommend this restaurant to others looking for delicious Thai food. Many takeout orders were picked up as we enjoyed dinner in the restaurant. This is a perfect location for students and families looking for dine in or takeout.

Unfortunately I am giving this place 2 stars. I really wanted to like this place given its a new Thai place in Bryn Mawr. However, the food was genuinely the worst Thai I’ve had. We had the green curry, red curry, and tom yum noodle soup. We had huge chunks of vegetables in the soup, the tofu seemed deep fried, and all dishes lacked flavor compared to the same dishes at other Thai restaurants. Disappointed and will not be returning.

First time here- we came after a prenatal appointment and were SO hungry. We got lunch special Pad Thai and Pad See Ew, both of which were so fresh and so delicious! The service was also perfect and our waitress was kind and quick. We will be back!

I am actually enraged that this place currently has 5 stars because I tried the food today and it was genuinely the worst Thai I have ever eaten! They must be deleting reviews! I ordered the pad see ew with chicken which I’ve had at many other Thai restaurants (one of my favorite foods). Their dish did not even taste like pad see ew and was covered in a disgusting seasoning that overpowered the dish and the chicken was completely dry. Wasted my money and wish I could go back in time and go somewhere else. Do NOT come here!
