First time here!
Great place for crawfish hence the name. Neat place inside, have a full bar and beer. Don’t let the fact that it is in strip mall shy you away. Brother & Sister-in-law shared crawfish combo which included shrimp, crab legs, 3lbs of crawfish with corn & potato.
I started with a bowl of gumbo, that had plenty of seafood and a great portion of rice and it was delicious. My main course was I the special that day-2lbs crawfish, 1lb shrimp with corn & potato. The crawfish was perfectly cooked, peeled easily and tasted wonderful.

Ok I am a bloody Mary snob and this place had one of the best ones I have had in Monroe area. It had some nice pickled veggies on top -and a touch of spice. We did a dinner and added sausage. There was a bunch of crawfish, shrimp, corn, potatoes, crab legs and the added sausage. I learned I don’t like crawfish. I however enjoyed everything else especially the shrimp and the crab. Between three people there was not a single item left on the tray. We did start with the boudin balls which were very crispy (inside could use a touch more seasoning). This place looks small from the outside but it is really huge inside and despite it being busy there was no table wait and food came out quick. The inside has a rustic bar feel which what more could you want when your gonna get messy. They have large tables and can accommodate large groups. Our server was friendly and fast. Although not a crawfish fan I would be back for the other seafood options.

We have visited one time. Decided we wanted crawfish and we landed at Crawfish City. Our waitress was very nice. She did any excellent job tending to us. We did have 5 kids with us and she brought 1 toy to the table for the kids to have so that didn’t go over well. Maybe next time dont bring one at all if they can’t all have one. save me a headache. My husband is the one that wanted crawfish. He said the flavor was “okay, not worth what we had to pay” I mostly ate shrimp and it was good. The kids had chicken strips, shrimp, and chips. They enjoyed their food. We will probably try a different place next time.

If you like your Crawfish and Boiled Shrimp cold and bland… This is the perfect place for you!!! And the butter was cold and gelly like.. My sausage was a very nice size, but it was cold too… When we told the waitress she replaced it with another cold one ..

Everyone has their opinion on who has the best crawfish. Based on the 2 spots in town I visited this is absolutely the best!!! My mouth was on fire (a good enjoyable one) most of the meal, corn and potatoes had excellent seasoning and prices are extremely reasonable!

If curious on the other spot I visited, I did a review and post of it too.

I didn’t feel like service was as good as it could be but the food is exceptional!

They don’t take special orders with crawfish. You get them spiced how they like it. They are not very spicy, but they have good flavor and the flavor is IN the meat, not all on the outside of the shell where your fingers are spicier then the crawfish. The service was great, as were the specials they were running! The crawfish were cooked nearly perfectly. The tails all peeled easily, as did most claws. Only less then half the crawfish had “hard” shells. That’s amazing for the last day of the season!! Keep up the great work, Joey!

My least favorite place the get crawfish in the twin cities. Go to Cormiers or Claw Daddy’s if you want GOOD crawfish. The crawfish don’t taste like anything except liquid boil and dirt. They don’t offer dry seasoning, only Tony’s. Super dirty crawfish when we went with lots of seaweed/grassy stuff mixed in.

Best Crawfish I’ve had in a long time. They were all very large, easy to peal and very tasty. Spicy but not too spicy, just right! Gumbo was awesome as well. Topped it off with a piece of warm pecan pie and a scoop of ice cream which was just outstanding. Food was great and the service was fantastic. Thanks Tori for taking good care of me. Highly recommend and can’t wait to go back.

This place is “hopping busy” but we only had to wait 20 minutes for a table. They definitely know how to cook the seafood and the boudin balls are one of my favorites! This is a must go, worth the wait, place!
