Had a nice time here. The menu was very large with a diverse range of options.
The seating is effective but sometimes meshes with the line of customers waiting. The overall customer service was good, but the floor was a bit littered with fallen fruit, which workers almost slipped on a few times. I had a refreshing juice, and my husband had a bowl, which we both enjoyed thoroughly.

The food here is great, and the girls working there are always very nice. My issue is with management and the lack of flexibility when it comes to modifying orders.
I’ve been to many other Playa Bowls locations in Montgomery County, Chester County, and other areas, and they’ve always been accommodating, especially because I have allergies. Other locations have been willing to adjust ingredients so the bowls work for my system, and they do it kindly and professionally.
Unfortunately, this location has been very different. When I ask about making simple changes, I’m often met with confused looks, like my request is unreasonable, and I’ve been told multiple times that management does not allow them to make those adjustments. I even came back again hoping for a better experience, but was told the same thing.
I have also spoken directly with management, and they were very difficult to deal with. In my experience, they came across as close-minded and unprofessional. It’s disappointing because the employees are pleasant and the food is good, but the management makes the overall experience frustrating.

5 to the staff that I met to my 1st visit to Playa Bowls…my receipt says Julia. I appreciate being welcomed & help with ordering. I told the staff the menu was overwhelming, but they were so helpful. Good selection that I made & I’ll return! Yum yum

First let me start by saying I usually rave about Playa Bowls. I have introduced them to numerous other staff at my school. I usually drive to Bethlehem or Center Valley or even NJ and bring back bowls for at least 5 other people often ordering over 10 and up to 25 bowls. I never was so disappointed by the portion size or that some of the bowls were half melted because they were sitting on the back counter for over 20 minutes. Some of my bowls were only a little over half full and my order was incorrect (booster base was always a bluish green this time they looked like the banana base…when did this change). I didn’t realize the error in my order until I got back to work. I was late getting back to work because my order wasn’t ready when I got there. I placed my order over an hour and a half before I went to pick it up so it was upsetting when I got there and still had to wait 20 minutes. I had coolers and ice packs in my car to transport them, but with them left sitting out while they were completing my order they were soupy by the time I got to school. I was embarrassed to hand them to people. Plus because my order wasn’t ready, by the time I returned some people missed their dinner break. I was hoping more care would be taken with an order over $225…17 bowls. I never had this issue with any of my larger orders at other playa bowls in the past. I have transported bowls in coolers in summer in the past over an hour and never had issues like this. I was only going about 20 minutes away, this should not have been a problem even on a hot day. When I have gotten bowls at other Playa Bowls they are filled to the tippy top. Check out the pictures and you be the judge.

What a great experience! We had 3 kids with us who got smoothies, my husband had the cold brew and I had the tropical bowl and all were fantastic. I’ve been to a few playa bowls before and this one by far had the best vibe/atmosphere. The artwork was amazing too. And the whole strip it was in was very nice. There are chairs and benches outside which is a really nice bonus when it’s a nice day. The staff was also super friendly and welcoming.

It’s so rough craving a playa bowl constantly and whenever I order from this location the quality is [horrible]. No matter if I order in store or online my bowl is always completely melted: Base melted leads to > soggy bowl fruits > soggy sunken granola.
From the open kitchen concept you can see how everything is prepared and I see that bases are being mixed and then stored in a freezer. At this point I’m going to assume your freezer temperature is not right and your serving customers melted bases; you’re serving customers soupy fruit bases rather than the semi-frozen deal your franchise has on their policy. If I am spending $14.00 on each bowl I am ordering I would be expecting what I’m being promised and not soup this is a case in the winter-spring-summer so seasonal outside changes I know aren’t the cause.
Not to be that person that compares but bowls here are like starting at $13+ for this kind of quality compared to playa bowls in belmar nj (founding location) for less and better quality.
Based off of the other pictures under this review section I would suggest you check ur temperatures with what the company is listing needs to be at and a manager checking quality control before a bowl gets given out. I know for a fact the owners of this franchise and its employees would not eat a soupy bowl so please don’t serve your loyal customers this mess.. thank you

LOVE this location! Excellent customer service experience at every visit… always super friendly and welcoming. The bowls are fresh, beautifully made, and packed with flavor. My go-to is the Nutella Bowl, yet you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Highly recommend!
