Social Profile:

The Marshal features a seasonal farm-to-table menu of locally sourced goodness. There is something for everyone on our menus, from creative salad, beautiful seafood and meats, to our locavore wood-fired pizzas.Sustainability is paramount to us. We burn no gas and cook only with replanted apple and cherry wood from local orchards. We buy wind power for our electricity needs. By sourcing our food from local farmers, our wine from local wineries, and our liquor from local distilleries, we aim not only to reduce the amount of carbon emissions from shipping, but also to support our local community.

Cozy, rustic-chic spot with a wood oven firing farm-to-table New American dishes, plus a full bar.

The Marshal is a small but very cozy spot serving elevated American food. There are some highlights: our server was great, even as the restaurant got very busy at peak times on Saturday. Food wise, their small plates were very good. The deviled eggs were the best I’ve had, and we also enjoyed the tomato sides and bread.

Some space for improvement (or things that were not for us): some of entrees really didn’t have that much depth of flavor–the gnocchi, for example, tasted too much like cream of mushroom of soup.

We’d come back, if only to try some of their other small plates.

Delicious food and great customer service! The Mac and cheese and chicken wings were very good and the breadsticks for starters are delicious! Would definitely recommend and make a reservation as they were full on a Sunday night!

It’s a very small restaurant with cute interiors.

We’re not super hungry so we had three appetizers and a salad to share which was more then enough. We had Mac and cheese, chicken wings, and ribs. For the salad we had beets salad. All were delicious.

For dessert we had the cobbler. The only issue I had was they don’t serve decaf coffee which was a bit odd!

The bbq rib to share and short rib were fantastic as well as a pear pizza. The service was friendly and helped create a cozy environment on a cold winter afternoon.

Great pizzas! We also tried the steelhead trout served over roasted broccolini, cremini porcini ragout, sundried tomato caper beurre blanc and the cod with white wine & caper reduction over roasted sage & autumn squash purée. The trout was good, but wasn’t a fan of the combination of cod and squash purée. The portions of fish were small given the price (almost $40). The choice of wine by the glass is very limited. The place was PACKED. Small thin restaurant that can feel cramped on one side of the restaurant, neighbors being 1 inch away. The other side’s tables are adjacent to the was length-wise.

Came here for brunch and they sat us outside because we didn’t have reservations enough tho inside was only half full. I get it’s a small and cozy spot. Amidst all the noise and pedestrians eyeing our food on the smallest of table ever, we enjoyed our lunch. I really wanted to try the “world famous meatloaf” but they initially gave me the wrong menu, and they don’t serve it during brunch/lunch. The smoked duck breast pizza and short rib hash was decent, nothing out of this world.

Great spot for lunch! We got 3 different kinds of pizza ( with pear, duck, and prosciutto), and all of them were delicious! The atmosphere is very pleasant and friendly, but the place itself is quite small.

Amazing Brunch, lunch and dinner in NYC! Love the NY wine and spirits selections. Great farm to table restaurant. Healthy and delicious. Also great for a private party. Went to an amazing wine dinner for Wölffer at the Marshall back in January.

The deviled eggs are great. They happily served the duck prosciutto topping on the side for the vegetarian at our table (who would have happily eaten a dozen deviled eggs if it was socially acceptable). Our server also cheerfully subbed thinly sliced duck breast for bacon on the peach-arugula-mozzarella-bleu cheese pizza. It was a heavenly sweet/umami bomb. The shrimp scampi pizza was just as good. Anyone who can serve a perfectly cooked shrimp is worth their weight in shrimp.

The eggs plus two $18 lunch specials (a 10-in pizza and a small tomato and greens salad) plus the eggs satisfied three adults, which is why we

The virgin drinks are maybe an acquired taste, but we’d happily stick with tap water and go back again and again and again, if only we lived in the city. Sadly, The Marshal will have to be a tourist spot for us. Definitely going back to try the roasted carrots, mac-n-cheese, and mushroom truffle pizza.

Let’s put last, first. The starters were so good that at the end of our meal, we decided to definitely come back just to have the starters along with their dessert wine from the Brotherhood Winery. We’ve had the good fortune of going to this local winery on numerous occasions. Their wines are some of the best

If you’re a deviled egg lover, the devil eggs would easily steal the show. Somehow, the chef was able to cram a half dozen egg yolks into three half whites. The deviled eggs had tons of flavor.

Great steelhead trout, and there’s nothing like a good pizza topped with smoked duck breast.

Great dessert, Maple Marshmallow Smores

Love the narrow, cozy, intimate space.
