This guy loves what he does and you can tell in his food. It’s definitely a hidden gem as I’ve driven past it (and gotten gas) a ridiculous amount of times not knowing there was anything this good inside a shell station. I almost didn’t go inside because I thought it might have been a food truck that moved… NOPE you gotta go inside and taste why this place gets such a high ranking. So much deliciousnesssssssss.

Been coming here for years… absolutely the best barbecue restaurant between Longview and Vancouver.. The owner is Wonderful always in a good mood. Great service very talkative and nice guy… Usually get the pulled pork absolutely juicy and the sides are amazing too..

Had to call and ask if they were located inside of the gas station, and they are. Super good BBQ, big portions, good price. They did not disappoint like alot of other bbq places from Portland to vancouver. Brisket was good, ribs were great, chicken was great, love the mass amounts and bbq sauce. Hot links were really good as well. Everything came out piping hot and the fresh cold potato salad was a perfect side to cool it all down. Would recommend!

Stopped into the Shell station to get a great deal on coffee and cake. Happened to stumble across this amazing place. The food was phenomenal!! Best Brisket I have had in a loooong time. Gentle man helping me filled me in on the location and history of the brand. Definitely making a trip to their Woodland location to try the Mac and Cheese. Also grab some pie while there amazing and made from scratch. Oh and the cornbread is out of this world! Definitely call ahead cause can get busy and could run out it’s that good!

I stopped by for the first time and it was definitely worth the trip. It’s in the back of a Shell station and has a counter and tables to some in if you’d like. I got the ribs plate with baked beans and coleslaw. The ribs were so meaty and cooked perfectly and the baked beans were some of the best I’ve ever had. The service was also great and friendly. I’ll definitely be back again.

The BBQ here is by far the best around. I’ve been to several BBQ places in the Vancouver and Portland area and every time I go somewhere else I just wish I would have went to Daddy D’s

If you want old school, home cooked Que! Then Daddy D’ is the spot. Although they came from humble beginnings. Theor Que was the Best in the Vancouver/ Portland area. Meat was Moist, tender and cooked to perfection (Unlike Creekside who pride themselves on bad reviews. Don’t believe me. Check out my review from earlier today and their bathroom). I can truly say as a visitor to the region. This staff cared about quality and consistency. Hell, they had a line out of the Shell Gas Station where one of their locations are located. As a person that travels for work. It’s always important to find those food gems. And this was that DIAMOND that saved my lunch. (LEFT my food uneaten at CREEKSIDE to come to them). Again MUCH THANKS TO YOU AND YOUR STAFF….
