Food was great and tasted like authentic Thai food. We ordered the Pad Thai (one with beef, one with chicken), Pad Talae, Thai Salad, Pad Kra Pow (Prawns), spring rolls, and for dessert we had the Thai ice cream (one coconut and one mango).

The service was okay, the staff were not rude or friendly but got the job done. We waited 10 mins for the entree and 40 minutes for the mains.

With the Sunday surcharge and EFTPOS surcharge our total came to $235. A little bit pricey for 5 people but I think it was worth it.

Next time we’re in Phillip Island again, would definitely come back here.

I would like to share our recent experience at this restaurant, which was unfortunately far below basic service standards.
1. Unfriendly Welcome: From the moment we stepped in, the staff showed an unwelcoming attitude, making us feel uncomfortable right away.
2. Hot Water Request: Because the weather was extremely cold, we politely asked for hot water. The staff responded that they only had “warm water,” which felt dismissive and unhelpful.
3. Request for Chopsticks: When we asked for chopsticks, we were given disposable “to-go” chopsticks instead of proper dining utensils.
4. Request for Bowls: We ordered soup to share among six people, yet the restaurant provided only two bowls and claimed that they only had two bowls available in the entire establishment. This was surprising and unacceptable for any restaurant operation.
5. Payment Issue: When it was time to pay, the restaurant refused to accept card payment and insisted on cash only. They also did not issue an official receipt—only a handwritten order slip in Thai, which we could not understand.

A dining experience should at least come with courtesy, transparency, and basic hospitality. Sadly, this restaurant failed at all of these. I hope the management seriously improves their service so future guests will not have the same experience.

The food felt authentic and portion sizes were big. They didn’t cheap out on the amount of seafood. It exceeded our expectations.

Never again. No thank you! We used to love coming here. In 2023 when on a 10 day holiday on Philip island we had a take away from them 3 times and one dine in. So this year, we wanted to go back specifically for the desert that we loved last time- banana dumpling. Instead, what we got looked like a tiny pile of fish guts- horribly presented, tiniest portion of a dumpling with a scoop of icecream. We paid $15 for a spoonful of a dumpling. ( see the photos) Very disappointing. Overall very pricy menu, most prices 30$ and up for a basic main, such as curry, noodles, etc. this restaurant raised the prices the most of all the places that we frequent on the island. The taste is average. The service is not rude. I gave 3 stars for the atmosphere because it’s cozy inside and we used to love coming here. It’s so close to the beach as well. Unfortunately we won’t be coming back.

I went this restaurant 14 years ago.
This place is a new location, not the one i came 14 years ago. They moved to this new location.
The taste of green curry has not changed at all, it still tastes the same as I remember it. the food is delicious. The shrimp from the pad thai is very generous, I was surprised. I was hesitant to return to this location after reading reviews from google, but I still tried to get rid of my curiosity for 13.5 years. Someone wrote that the service was rude, but I felt they were friendly. The main obstacle is that they are not very good at English because they are Thai, so it sounds rude when they speak.
Althought it’s not a reason because they open a restaurant in Australia, but i was in f&b industry before so i understand the languanges barrier issues. The service is also very fast, 10 minutes from when I ordered all their food came out. This might be because when I came the only one eating was my table. The price of the food is indeed not cheap, but opening a Thai restaurant in such a far location certainly will not be cheap from the price of raw materials and labor. the decoration of the place is standard, I came here to eat not to take photo of the place. The portion of the pad thai is very large. For me in terms of taste and portion and location, it is comparable to the price. very worth it.

What I ordered:
– pad thai ( shrimp )
– green curry ( chicken )
– pad nam man hoy

Total ordered A$101.5
Love it

Will come back again one day
Thank you

Being a die hard Thai food fan, this is one of the worst Thai food I had ever tasted. First of all, they do not accept cards which is odd as not all the travelers will have local AU currency. Then the service is not great as well. I wished amidst this I thought the food would be decent. But it was a disaster. The spicy fried rice (both chicken and veg) was floating in oil. Even the look of it was unappetizing. The laksa was not up to the standards either. It was a disaster of an experience overall. The much more disappointing fact was it’s crazy expensive for the sub standard food they serve. I gave 2 stars for the location of the restaurant. I am flabbergasted by the 3.9 starts it has received. IF YOU WANT TO SAVE YOUR MONEY AND YOUR TASTE BUDS, JUST WALK PAST THE RESTAURANT.

tried take away food as per the suggestions from little red book, one fried rice with one salad for me, cost62 dollars which is not cheap. But the service is terrible, requested tax invoice twice, ended up gave me a hand write one with meals as description, not the food I ordered. the service lady even asked me with an unhappy tune what the date is it today so she can do her job of writing a tax invoice, waited 20minutes and gave me 2 take away box without a take away bag, the salad box leaked on the way home, terrible experience. too sweet for salad, and the fried rice is just normal taste, never going to step in this resturant again, my friends are agree, they strongly asked me to write a review so people knows

Food was great, very authentic with the Thai basil in the green curry and the red duck curry was to die for.
We had a Thai wait staff and he was absolutely awesome, very polite and efficient service.
The guy behind the counter was a little grumpy but all in all a good experience. Photos speak for themself
