I placed a DoorDash order for a sandwich, Coke, chips, and cookies. When my order arrived, the cookies were wrong and there was no Coke or chips included at all. I called the store, and the night shift manager with pink hair told me I would have to bring the order in for them to fix it. Mind you, I had already paid a delivery fee to have the food brought to my house, but instead of simply correcting their mistake, they made me go out of my way and drive there myself.
When I arrived, she insisted on seeing the sandwich first, as if she thought I was lying. After looking at it, it turned out I was right about the issues, yet she still tried to argue with me. She claimed some of the order buttons must not have been pressed correctly, but that still doesn’t explain why my Coke and chips were missing or why I received the wrong cookies.
When I asked where my Coke was, she actually looked at the receipt like I was making it up and said it wasn’t on there. I had to physically point to the line where it clearly said Coke. Only then did she acknowledge it, and even then she was extremely rude about it.
On top of that, she tried to make me pay again for a bag of chips that I had already purchased online. Then when I simply switched the cookies to the correct ones I originally ordered, she ran outside chasing after me and accused me of stealing. It was completely unnecessary and incredibly disrespectful. I explained that I was only correcting the cookies to what I had actually paid for, but she continued talking very disrespectfully to me.
This was one of the most frustrating and unprofessional experiences I’ve ever had with a restaurant. I will never come back here again, and management seriously needs to reevaluate who they have representing their business.
Over a sandwich wow. We all know you ain’t making nearly enough to chase someone out the store accusing them of stealing 2.99 cookies. Get a life and learn how to make a sandwich.
Please if your that fed up with your job , please do not continue customer service work. No one wants to be treated this way. The meal could have been free and I’d still be rubbed the wrong way. My truck isn’t half this dirty!!!!!
P.s. all that was missing was gunshots and this would definitely be the worst subway in America ( coming from a coast to coast trucker with a VIP pilot status!!).
Today, February 28, I arrived at Flying J Truck Stop in Casper, WY at 9:30 PM. Inside, there is a Subway, and I wanted to order a sandwich. However, there were no employees present.
I called, but no one answered. Then I went to the front desk and asked for help. The employee said she would look for someone from Subway.
She checked inside—no one. Then she went outside and saw that one of the Subway workers was just sitting there. When she came back, she said: “I don’t know where they are.”
I decided to wait since the website states that Subway is open until 10:00 PM. It was 9:45, and the employees were still absent. Five minutes later, a worker arrived and said: “We are already closed.”
When I asked why, if Subway operates until 10 PM, she replied: “Well, yes, but we are already closed, we are cleaning.”
Her name is Ray.
I went back to the Fuel Desk and asked if there was a manager available. A lady named Electa came over. I asked what time Subway closes. She said, “10 PM.”
I said, “It’s 9:50 now. That means it should still be open, right?”
“Yes, it is open.”
“Then why can’t I place an order at Subway?”
“I don’t know. That’s not my responsibility. I have no authority over them. I work here.”
Well, thank you for your indifference and lack of responsibility!
No one takes accountability for anything. Complete disorder. When they should be serving customers, they sit outside. When they should be paying attention, they don’t see anything. Shameful and unacceptable.
This is unacceptable service! I specifically stopped at this truck stop to refuel and grab food, but instead, I was completely ignored. If your posted hours say you’re open until 10:00 PM, customers expect to be served until that time—not to be turned away early because employees decide to close whenever they want.
If anyone is planning to stop here, be prepared that Subway might be closed even if their schedule says otherwise. Or the staff might simply not be there, and no one will help you.
I would not recommend this truck stop for a stop and will definitely never return!
