I already knew the food would be delicious because this is not their first rodeo.
I love the ambience! And they really are such great, warm and welcoming people! Jason is a talented chef, and Nicole is the perfect addition to the front of the house welcoming in guests.
I had the Cajun Shrimp and Crab salad sandwich lunch feature.

When you’re in, near, or around Gettysburg, go check them out on York Street right before you get to Lincoln Square.
I ordered the Peach Salad, and it was absolute perfection with fresh peaches paired beautifully with whipped basil ricotta, greens, red onion, toasted pecans, and a delicious blueberry vinaigrette. Light, summery, and bursting with flavor.
My son had the Beef Short Rib, which came with squash, zucchini, roasted potato hash, and chipotle BBQ sauce. The meat was fall-apart tender, and every element on the plate was thoughtfully prepared and seasoned.
We also shared the Roasted Corn Bruschetta with Lump Crab Meat, served on mango chili sourdough with whipped chipotle chèvre, corn and pepper bruschetta, cotija, cilantro, and lime zest. It was next-level delicious!
Though we were completely stuffed, we couldn’t resist ordering the Peach Cheesecake (made with fresh local peaches by a local pastry chef) to go. It was the perfect treat to enjoy later and absolutely worth it.
What made our visit even more memorable was Nicole’s extraordinary service. She was warm, knowledgeable, and attentive without ever being overbearing. Her passion for the menu and the local ingredients truly elevated our experience. She made us feel right at home.
crEATe is a gem in Gettysburg. Chef Jason is top-knotch and his dishes are creative, locally inspired, and completely satisfying. We’re already talking about coming back next time we’re in town…if not again tomorrow for lunch. Highly recommend!
We stumbled upon this absolute gem in Gettysburg and wow — what a find! From the moment we walked in, the cozy, welcoming vibe set the tone for what turned out to be one of the best meals we’ve had in a long time.
We ordered the Short Rib and the Berry Salad, and both were out-of-this-world delicious. The short rib was fall-apart tender, rich, and bursting with flavor — the kind of dish you can’t stop talking about even days later. Perfectly balanced with whatever slow-roasted magic they’re working in the kitchen. And the berry salad? Refreshing, vibrant, and so thoughtfully crafted. The fresh berries, crisp greens, and a hint of tangy dressing created the perfect contrast to the richness of the rib. It’s not just a salad — it’s an experience.
What makes it even better? It’s BYOB! We brought our favorite bottle of wine and were able to enjoy a truly elevated dining experience without the typical markup. The staff was super friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home.
If you’re in or near Gettysburg, do not miss this spot. Whether you’re a foodie or just looking for an intimate night out with amazing food and your favorite drink in hand — this is the place. We’ll be talking about this dinner for a long time and will absolutely be back.
