The atmosphere was pleasant but, I was very disappointed in the curry, PHO, and the Vietnamese Spring Rolls. Very watery curry with no flavor. PHO had an off taste almost as if it was not cooked long enough. The Spring rolls were over fried and burnt. I was hoping to like it but, I will continue to go to my favorite PHO restaurant off Bitters and West.

The pho had the aroma of ginger so it seemed promising but no. Can’t say if it’s watered down broth or even broth at all. Had to add lots of hoisen sauce, sriracha and also threw in some soy sauce to be able to consume. My daughters cilantro did not look edible so had to ask for more since she was literally given a something that looked really sad and floppy. Ordered Vietnamese spring rolls and could not eat them, so most went to waste due to all the grease.Spring rolls looked as if they were re-fried, dirty old oil or thrown in the fryer and forgotten. You could see the oil glistening during the entire visit. Husband fried rice looked good but again, lacking flavor. Only person whose food was good was my grandson who had a kid meal. Food could be better if they wouldn’t skimp out in seasonings because food lacks flavor.

New name, new owner, same great PHO, with more Thai options. Very clean, Naree served us and was very hospital and friendly! Started with Vietnamese egg roll, nice and crispy sauce was not super sweet, good compliment. For my dinner I had the spicy beef pho bowl (had to add chilli oil) but flavorful soup base. Jasmine tea was hot and refreshing.

Food and service was very good ! Only thing I was disappointed was the Thai tea boba the boba melted quick and didn’t have flavor . However, wings and curry appetizers were great (see pictures)

Came with my friends for lunch on a Monday. We picked this place because it seemed like a good place for me, a vegan, to get food and for them, not vegans, to also enjoy some food. And I love Thai food, it’s my favorite cuisine. We noticed though it’s a Pho place and thus Vietnamese, they had a bunch of Thai entrees too! Food was good, my only concern was the waitress who didn’t say more than one or two words to us the whole time. Basically she took our order, brought the food out and that was it. Didn’t come refill our waters or check on us or anything. We had to get her attention to get boxes to go and to get the check as she simply didn’t come back to check on us. Not a big deal but not a phenomenal visit either. Basically an okay visit.

Nice enough place, and the food does taste decent. My issue is with the protein – or lack thereof. I’ve eaten at plenty of Pho places, but I don’t remember ever ordering a Pho that had exactly 1 piece of each of the proteins on the menu. 1 piece of brisket, 1 piece of tendon (I think there may have been another tiny piece) and 1 piece of round steak. Literally. And my wife had the same. Now I understand inflation and such but for a $10+ meal, I expect a little more. I would’ve taken pics but didn’t realize until after. So, in conclusion, lower the price or add a little more.

We decided on this place because Thai Topaz across the street, was closed to in-dining service. I refuse to do anymore take out.
We ordered drinks and it took a few minutes because there was only one waitress working the floor. She struggled to leave drinks on the table due to her very long fingernails.
We ordered the spring rolls as an appetizer. They had a good taste and were nice and crispy but much smaller than other restaurants serve. A very small amount of fish sauce was provided as well as minuscule amounts of lettuce and shredded carrots. Normally, spring rolls are served with lettuce leaves, bean sprouts and, occasionally, basil and cilantro (For the very best spring rolls, go to Taste of Asia, on the corner of West Avenue and Bitters Rd. Awesome!)
I love red curry! I ordered mine with chicken and made sure the spiciness level was the lowest, a #1. When it came to the table, I tasted it and could not eat it because it was so hot. I verified with the waitress that it was ordered a 1 in terms of spiciness and she said yes. I had her take it away as it was inedible to me. The curry itself was very thin, compared to others that I have tasted. It had thin chicken strips that were a little tough.
My husband ordered Pad Thai with beef. His was okay but lacked the flavor of the one made at Thai Hut, on Petranco Road, our favorite location.
I asked to see the menu again and ordered the Bahn Mi sandwich with pork. This was another disappointment. The sandwich bread was dry; I couldn’t find any mayonnaise as the menu mentioned. The few pieces of pork were very salty. The shredded carrots were not marinated or pickled. The menu never mentioned raw red onions. I had to remove those as I do not eat any raw onions. The cucumbers were not marinated either. It did have a few sprigs of cilantro; however, the bean sprouts were probably counted out. I got about 3. (Try The French Sandwich, corner of Wurzbach and Fredericksburg for a delicious Bahn Mi with marinated pork. Order it on a croissant. It is served with a cup of very light French Onion soup and a small custard-filled cream puff. Delicious)
A very disappointing beginning of the week. It can only get better, right? I

I ordered out, the food was well packaged and the pho broth was delicious, but there was such a tiny portion of meat that I won’t be coming back. There were two small meatballs cut in half and maybe five tiny slices of steak. Not worth it.

Maybe this place has some good dishes but the pho was terrible. It was the worst pho I’ve ever seen or tasted. The “pork belly” is sliced bologna, the vermicelli is thick and tasteless, the broth is tasteless, and they skimp on the veggies (mung bean sprouts, basil, cilantro). I’m not a picky eater and generally eat anything. But, I was so disappointed I just got up and went to a different restaurant.
