This place is supposed to be great according to the reviews, but it’s not. I worked in food service for years and I know the rules. It’s unclean and they don’t properly wash their produce or handle the food following proper food service guidelines. I’ve seen bugs inside as well and after all I witnessed I would never put my health at risk by eating there. Go down the street to to other taco place and do yourself a favor!! Do NOT recommend.

Cute little spot. Tiny inside and pretty hot in there but the atmosphere is nice. Waitress was very friendly. The nachos are very good and it’s a good size. Would have been nice to receive chips and salsa but they don’t do that here. Everything we ordered was very tasty and good.

They have a wide range of amazing tacos for a fair price! Also they were very kind to have returned my wallet when I left it there! I was so worried I left it somewhere along the way home. Very upstanding folks!

We love tacos…On our way home from New Hope stopped at this restaurant. Are we Happy we did their tacos were amazing and the Guacamole was one of the best we have had!!! Make it a point if in the area to stop in. You won’t be disappointed!

This is the worst place in Lambertville. Somehow, I’ve been charged over $1000.00 in debit card fees through Tacos Cancun and yet I’ve NEVER eaten there in my life, nor do they have an ATM!!! They seem to be in cahoots with a few local gas stations as well. I would not recommend eating here as they are stealing money from innocent consumers through stolen Visa/Debit cards. My husband is out of work from an injury and our family is struggling immensely. That money was a LOT to us and it’s not okay. Food, cleanliness, and service mean nothing when a business has no ethical actions within its own community.

Always a great experience here! The service is friendly, and there’s no shortage of delicious vegetarian options—though I usually go for the camarones rancheros, which never disappoints. The enclosed back patio offers comfortable seating with Dia de Los Muertos decor. This spot is BYOB, with a liquor store conveniently located just around the corner. This time, I switched it up and tried the burrito bowl—it was absolutely massive and super satisfying. Would have had lunch for the next day, but I left it in the car. We’ll be back!

The tortilla soup was incredible. it was rich, creamy, chock full of chicken and crispy tortilla. it may be the best one i’ve had.
The molcajete is a real head turner and has a ton of protein in it. 4th different animal meats in it.
the camarones a la diablo was also awesome. medium spicy and with a good portion.

We were looking for an authentic Mexican restaurant that we never had before and found this quaint little spot located at 20 Main St. In Lambertville, NJ. I had the shrimp chimichanga, and the misses had enchiladas. we shared massive chicken nachos. The service was good it was like being at a Spanish friend’s house for dinner. The food was good and very authentic as we met some of the gentlemen from the kitchen. We will definitely eat here again!

With a 4.7 star review we figured that this would be a good place for some Mexican food. Not so! Though we were seated quickly, it took at least 10 minutes to get our order taken. We ordered 2 appetizers and 2 entrees. We watched 3 other tables that arrived later than us get their food orders taken after ours but got their food (appetizers AND entrees) before we did. It took asking our waiter twice and over 30 minutes for our food to come out, both appetizers and entrees at the same time!!! Not acceptable. The appetizer was cold (not supposed to be cold). Just a can (presumably) of black beans spread on a stale tortilla shell with shredded chicken and some cheese. And the chicken was dry. Not edible even with extra sauce on top. The entrees were served warm (barely). Though they tasted very good, they also tasted just barely warm. Again, not acceptable. The only excuse from our (admittedly nice) waiter, was that they were “very busy” (there were two large empty tables directly beside us). After talking to the manager about the service and food, he comped our cold, inedible appetizer. We still came out with a bill over $60 (over $80 after tip) for 2 barely warm, though tasty, entrees and an appetizer. Definitely not worth the time and aggravation. Taco Bell may have been a far better choice.

Food is fresh and even the tortillas are made on site. We eat here often and enjoy it every time.
My favorite is the hard shell taco and I’ve had steak, pork, beef and shrimp.
My wife is more adventurous but likes the quesadilla best. In most places this is effectively a toasted cheese sandwich served on a flour tortilla. Here the sandwich is made on flour or corn, stuffed with goodies, and folded in half.
Both indoor and outdoor dining are available. Outdoor dining is in an enclosed patio. The ceiling is high, the room is glass on all sides, the roof is louvered, and the walls lower making for great ventilation.
We eat here several times a month.
