Our family had a great meal at Taste of Thai. The food was delicious, especially the Garlic and Pepper Fried Fish and the Fried Chicken Wings—my daughter absolutely loved them.
If you’ve been to Thailand and prefer your food with those bold, concentrated flavors just like they make it there, you can let the chef know. They’re happy to season it to that authentic level for you.
We asked for the starters and mains to come out together. Just a heads-up: the food takes a little while to prepare, so if you’re very hungry, it’s a good idea to have a light snack before you arrive.
It’s a BYOB spot as they don’t sell alcohol. The staff is lovely and the chef really pays attention to the details, from the taste to the presentation. The atmosphere has a nice Thai feel to it. We really enjoyed it and will definitely be back.

Excellent service and food prepared and served by 2 very nice people. It’s a nice restaurant; the back room is much nicer than the room you can see through the front window but it was a bit chilly on our visit. They have nicely dressed tables and provide nice wine glasses and an ice bucket for bring your own wine.

The starters were really nice and fresh, the ambience and staff was also very good. The portion of side was a little less according to me. Could be enough for others, just my opinion. Everything however was very tasty and fresh. Definately worth a visit.

Larb Chicken Salad was excellent, whether by top UK restaurant or authentic in Thailand standards! Some other dishes really not so great… Order with discretion. I imagine owners are limited with local supply of ingredients. However, for Ramsey i’d recommend. Friendly and helpful staff.

Very poor experience. Food was overcooked and tasteless, the soup tasted literally like bovril. The service was incredibly slow with starter to desert taking g over 2.5 hours on a table booked for 7pm. Its rare i leave a re iew let alone a bad one, but this was awful. We should have just left in hindsight, but very late to find somewhere else. Others simply walked out having tasted the main. Unfortunately, avoid.
