I stayed here for a week and loved this lodge. I’ll be back, Great Food and Bar. Beautiful view. Relaxing. My only complaint they need to start making coffee In the lobby earlier I start work at 5am and no coffee.That was disappointing.

Great pizza the first night. Then came back the next day and was very disappointed. Two of us in our group order steak and they couldn’t even eat it. Over cooked , tough and chewy. Salad was brown. Asked for a baked potato and there were out. Requested the bread it comes with and they were out of it. Not coming back again on this trip. Going elsewhere.

So disappointed, we knew kitchen closed at 8 and served only pizza, got there well before 8 waited before someone finally mentioned to go ahead and seat yourself, my boyfriend unloaded the truck and parked and when he returned they still had not come to clean the table from the previous diners, we waited another 10 minutes when he had to go ask so we could sit, it was 7:50 and she announced that we could only order pizza. He ordered take out from an outside restaurant and left to pick it up, it is 8:22 and the waitress never returned for even water or a drink order. Atleast the view of the lake is beautiful from here!!!

Amazing view peaceful friendly staff, upgraded menu. Well stocked liquor selection. Choice of outdoor or indoor seating. Plenty of parking. Clean and light.

Gotta get the restaurant crew more trained. My food was correct but my son ordered a cheese pizza and got a pepperoni one. I had dr.pepper as my drink and on the third refill it was Pepsi. We also had some friends sitting next to us and they were greeted and given menus but no one served them or took any type of order even a drink order. So that service wasn’t the best. And it did take 15-20 minutes just for drinks and it was slow, only a few tables. Not sure what’s going on but it’s hurting the business of that restaurant. Now the rest of the park is great to see and visit. I just don’t recommend the dining there.

It’s decent food, I got several dishes and liked all of them, the spring rolls, the burger, the shrimp scampi, and Alfredo dish were all good. The service was pretty quick and it wasn’t too busy. The hours for every meal are doable although I didn’t get a lunch.

Lodge is beautiful. Very few guests on this September Wednesday. Only food available is in restaurant unless you want chips, cookies from vending. No other locations close.
Restaurant beautiful setting and clean. Nothing on the menu for a grab and go. We ate outside where hummingbird feeders were empty. Lots of birds and squirrels to watch.

As the main dining room in the Burr Oak Lodge, we were delighted. It’s a casual setting with a central bar. We got served on off hours between 2-5pm, to a limited menu, which was welcomed by our large party. We were happy with pizzas, salads and adult beverages. The breakfast buffet, not included, was great too. Breakfast starts at 8am but staff was accommodating to our grab & go. There’s also limited outside seating to enjoy nature and the lake views.
