If you’re looking for an affordable, but also high-quality brunch, you absolutely need to visit The Post in Wilmington! Every Saturday and Sunday they serve brunch all day from 11AM until 4 PM. I love this place so much for a couple of reasons. Most of the ingredients they use come from their very own onsite hydroponic garden or other local vendors. I’m also obsessed with their decor! It’s very elegant, but also cozy plus they have blown up images of parts of Wilmington I grew up in and it really felt like a love letter to Wilmington.
Some of my favorites were the Coup D’etat drink (I loved the frothiness of the egg white with the fresh rosemary sprig), the Whipped Ricotta Toast app, and the Eggs Benedict! The Brisket Burnt Ends were also another highlight and they specialize in barbecue so I had to get brisket on my breakfast sandwich as well! They also have a really good espresso martini the French toast was delicious! I love that everything came out so delicious and played it so beautifully, but the prices were still very affordable for us locals! They also have one dollar wings during the Eagles games this season!

Really nice spot, our waitress was very accommodating and really sweet. We enjoyed our meal. I would recommend this spot if you’re in the area.

We went here for our anniversary dinner and the food and service were phenomenal. Hands down best shrimp & grits and collard greens I’ve ever had – I’d say it beats some of the best spots I’ve been to in the south! Our entrees were incredible and we genuinely had a fantastic time. Can’t wait to go back and try more on the menu.

This place is small but mightyyy. It feels a little upscale while still remaining casual and comfy. I loved just about everything I ate and drank while there, and our server slash bartender Drew was fantastic. A few menu highlights for me were the burnt ends with grits, the whipped ricotta, and the steak frites.

Probably a fun place to get drinks and appetizers based off the inside but stay far away from the “BBQ” items. The Mission BBQ chain on 202 is twice as good! The brisket had absolutely zero crust/bark/exterior color. I honestly think it may have been chuck roast. My instant pot with store brand bbq sauce would have tasted better. When they were on Lincoln Street, the food was so different. The brisket was smokey and had color and fat and spice. This it NOT the same Locale BBQ even though they call it that on the menu.

The space is gorgeous, with no attention to detail spared. The menu is diverse without being overwhelming, and you can tell so much thought and planning went into selecting each item. The drinks were flavorful and wine list was great! Staff from hostess, Server, Bartender and even chefs were wonderful to engage with and truly felt happy to have you there. Highly recommend and can’t wait to go back.

A slightly upscale and unique spin on a smokehouse restaurant. Outdoor sidewalk and rear. Eggplant and other options for vegetarians. Average decor, but pleasant.

Great food, friendly staff, cute place for brunch and perfect for a date night, for dinner. The location is also perfect, right next to other restaurants, stores, and shops.
My husband and I tried the ricotta toast and smoked meatballs and they were excellent. Not too heavy. Recommended 10/10

We were driving from New York to Virginia and pulled over for lunch and stopped at The Post. Good service, good food at what like a good local restaurant.

My boyfriend and I visited last night for dinner. I had the small plate of shrimp and grits which was absolutely delicious. My boyfriend had the chopped brisket panini which was dry, no flavor between 2 slices of bread. There should have been some sauce, juice or dip as it was completely lacking in taste and so dry. The sandwich was not what was described on the menu.
Overall we would visit again and my boyfriend would order something different.
Perhaps the person cooking forgot the rest of the ingredients that were listed on the menu for the panini.
