The chicken and ribs combo we consider to be one of the best in the wny area. Tonight we had the scallops and wing and ribs party of 4
Everything was amazing.
Our waitress was very courteous and helpful.

I really wanted the smoked turkey, but they were out. I had the smoked ham instead and it was delicious and a huge portion. Sweet potatoes fries, Baked beans and coleslaw for sides. Very filling. Cornbread was great. Our waitress, Jolene, was fantastic. The BBQ Chicken was moist and tasty. I will be back to get the Turkey and see Jolene again.

First time trying this restaurant and from the moment we walked in the service was excellent. Our server was super friendly and brought out bread and corn bread before we ordered and the menu was pretty large. We ordered the two entrées the Sampler BBQ Platter with Ribs, Pulled Pork and Chicken and Haddock Fish Fry. The ribs were fall off the bone but the pulled pork and chicken was a little dry. The haddock was not as crispy as I would liked, it was good but nothing to write home about. The prices are reasonable as well so if you are in the area and looking for some BBQ this might be the spot for you but I wouldn’t go out of the way to check it out.

Great small town vintage restaurant with a nice bar area separate from old style wooden dining tables, some chair and booth seats. Waitresses were pleasant to our party of 9. Refreshments and food came in a timely matter. Comfortable and quiet dinning. Good for family or a casual date. Variety on menu to fit any mood and the food is very good.

Service from Colleen was the sweetest. Above and beyond. Thank you Colleen for making our first visit a memorable experience. Plenty of choices on the menu and had to try the bbq rack and they were delicious.

Al-E-Oops is a fantastic barbeque restaurant. I loved their ribs the most. Besides barbecue, I think the place is alright. The potato dishes aren’t the best. The place seemed short staffed, but everyone was very friendly.

Stopped by here for the first time in years… our server was absolutely terrific! It was amazing to learn that she’s worked there for 37 years. That alone should really tell you about this place.

Dinner started with a plate of bread and cornbread. The bread was good. I’m not too big on cornbread but it was surprisingly really good.

I ordered The Hickory House Barbecue Sampler. It consisted of 3 meat choices, coleslaw, baked beans and choice of potato. I chose the twice baked potato. That was a great touch for a different side item. The chicken was good… the pulled pork was better (although I think it could’ve been simmered a bit longer to make it more tender)… oh my, those ribs? Those were to die for! They fell right off of the bones and the meat melted right in my mouth!

This place was so good. There garlic bread and onion rings were excellent but the star of the show was their ribs. Absolutely amazing. I can’t wait to go back. I also really enjoyed the atmosphere.

We were here at Al E Oops yesterday with another couple. There were already a party of 9 there so loud, we felt our eardrums would pop. When we asked the waitress if we could move, she seemed annoyed . But we moved anyway. The acoustics were terrible and magnified every sound. The bench seats were so low compared to the table that a short person would have a hard time sitting in them. I guess the place was remodeled by a tall person. Then when we placed our order the waitress ( who looked about 80 ) took our order. We asked her to split the bill for 2 couples. She said that she couldn’t do that without adding a surcharge. Never heard that one before . But she finally did split the bill for 2 couples but was annoyed doing it. Then a man plopped some bread and cornbread on the table and didn’t even speak. The food wasn’t too bad. The spare ribs melted off the bone but the sauce they use was a little spicy, but still good. The rest of the meal was good. But nothing that wowed me! Anyway, we won’t be going back there again. Especially when the staff makes customers feel unwelcome or like we were bothering them.

The food was very good but the service was lousy. 1 person took our order, 1 person brought us the order which was fine. After we got our meals no one checked on us ( and we did have a need). We were passed by several times and no one checked on us. We waited forever to get our check. We had to ask for the check from a third person. Then our original waitress finally came to the table and asked us if we were done? Our plates were taken away and she asked us if we were done. We have never had such bad service anywhere.
