We came here after seeing their recommendation in the 2025 Michelin Guide. We made a same-day reservation for Friday night and had a wonderful experience. Although our table was a bit small, the server who attended us was exceptionally attentive, which made it a non-issue.
We ordered two cocktails, both outstanding. Then we tried five dishes from the menu—one from each section: the crunchy rice, the focaccia, the shishito peppers, the rigatoni, and the duck. Everything was thoughtfully prepared and memorable. Our favorite was the crunchy rice, while the duck stood out as the most unique.
For dessert, we shared the lemon pound cake and the seasonal sweet potato cake, both excellent. Overall, if you are looking for a special night out, this place is certainly on the pricier side, but it is absolutely worth it. They have gained a repeat customer.

Was very excited to try this place, especially after hearing it was nominated for a Michelin Star. We made reservations for our 20 year anniversary and did it for 5PM right when they open so we could avoid the parking nightmare of that area (been to other restaurants in the area and know how it is). Was seated immediately in a corner table, nice dark ambiance. Waitress was great and very helpful. That was probably the only great thing about the place. We were the only people there with about four tables in our room and another four in the room next to us. About 10 minutes in the sat a business meeting right next to us. Of all the table and knowing we were celebrating our 20 year anniversary, why would you sit a business meeting right next to us when you had so many other tables available. They were so loud I literally couldn’t hear my wife talking next to me.
Now on to the food. Everything was way over salted, and I love salt. I had the duck which the skin was perfectly crisp but was so salty I couldn’t even eat it. The wife had the fish (can’t remember what kind it was), which was rubbery and again way too salty. The crispy rice appetizer was mushy and salty. The focaccia and prosciutto was salty as expected which is why we ordered it but needed something else like olive oil or something to dip it in because it was dry. Normally we stay for dessert but nothing appetizing about the food screamed it was worth spending another $20 for a piece of cheesecake. No desire to try again.

As always, we came here for a birthday celebration. They were kind enough to split all our dishes. The dessert was fantastic but I can’t remember what it was now.
We sat in the bar area and there was a cold draft

The servers are very sweet and more casual (in a good way) than you’d expect. I like that, everything feels human and like you’re in someone’s home. The decor is classy. The appetizer portions weren’t huge, but the flavors were! The crab toast is just wow, it will live in my memory till the end of time. That was one expensive meatball, but absolutely the most delicious meatball, especially with the fresh basil tomato gravy, and it’s big enough to split. The grouper was fresh, cooked to perfection, served with buttery veggies. The potato gnocchi with pesto was exactly as you’d expect, delicious & filling, and we had leftovers. Finally, the tiramisu knocked our socks off. It’s the best we’ve ever had.
We sat in one of the smaller rooms and there was a very loud group next to us, so their voices were echoing a bit and it made it difficult to have our own chill discussions, just want to note that so people are prepared. It has romantic lighting, but it’s not a quiet restaurant . However, it makes the place feel less pretentious than you might assume, so I’m not mad at it.

Big, big fan of this place. It’s an intimate, dim-lit setting and the food was delicious. Our server was knowledgeable of the gluten free options and how to accommodate certain menu items. I loved this whole experience. Also, this dessert was the bomb.

I recently dined at this charming Italian restaurant and was impressed. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a perfect blend of rustic elegance. The highlight of the meal was undoubtedly the tiramisu —decadent, creamy, and beautifully layered with just the right amount of coffee flavor. Each bite was a little piece of heaven! The pasta dishes were also fantastic, with fresh ingredients and rich, bold flavors . The service was attentive and friendly, making the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this spot for anyone craving authentic Italian cuisine! They offered complimentary valet parking.

We recently dined at this restaurant and was impressed by its eloquent decor and inviting atmosphere.
The staff were exceptionally friendly, offering a warm greeting upon our arrival. Our server demonstrated great knowledge and attentiveness throughout the meal, answering any questions we had.
The mixed drinks were enjoyable, offering good flavors, but I found them to be on the smaller side.
The flavors of the food were delightful, though the serving sizes were a bit underwhelming, particularly considering the prices.
The overall experience was marred by the disappointment of spending a considerable amount on the meal, only to find ourselves hungry again shortly afterward.
The availability of valet parking is a plus, especially considering the difficulty of finding parking spots in the area.
Having a pork allergy significantly limited the available choices, making it challenging to find suitable options on the menu.
While we were pleased with the exquisite flavor experience at this restaurant, the likelihood of a return visit is doubtful due to the perceived mismatch between serving sizes and prices.

Our second visit to AM and hopefully not our last. This place is stunning. The food is just divine. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The pace of the courses was perfectly timed. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. A Memphis Jewel that must be tried by locals and visitors! Like many places in Memphis, parking can be a bit of a nightmare, but they offer valet. We forgot to get pictures of dessert, but I highly recommend the Chocolate Sticky Toffee Pudding, the Lemon Pot de Creme and the Tiramisu. Don’t even choose one, get them all! You won’t regret it (get them to go).
