I get the Health Nut Smoothie all the time. It’s always been blended well and it’s never been all ice and water as one reviewer claimed. I love this smoothie and am always sad when I get to the last slurp. The only thing negative I’d have to say is that a few times I’ve found the flavor to be different and the owner offered and made me a new one, though it tasted the same. I think the difference could be the ripeness of the banana used or maybe the almond butter. The girls are always friendly at the counter and I love sitting in the courtyard yard.

I found myself headed to Jacksonville for a weekend of work and took my girl with me to make a small vacation out of it. We hit up this local shop at the recommendation of the guy at the front desk of our hotel, asking “Where’s a good place to grab a coffee that isnt Starbucks or Dunkin?”

He told me that the hotel staff is hooked on Urban Grind. Enough said!

Im normally an iced coffee drinker but the weather coming in we decided on something hot. Drinks were good!

They also had a really cool looking outdoor space that we’ll have to check out next time we’re in the area. I feel like this place might be even better in nicer weather. Overall we had a very good experience.

The only place was open on Sunday. Quiet and nice. Has a cute inside area to seat.

Oh my gosh, the bagels here are incredible! I had the Jalapeno bagel with jalapeno spread, egg, and bacon, and let me tell you, it was super delicious! Since I had just finished a workout, I was really good and only had half (but I could’ve easily eaten more!). Yum! And don’t even get me started on the chai tea latte—it was so good and matched the chill vibe of the place perfectly. I’d totally give it a 10/10 and recommend it to everyone!

Urban Grind Coffee Company isn’t just a coffee shop; it’s my cherished Sunday morning ritual. There’s nothing quite like biking downtown while the city still sleeps, heading straight for their doors. My perfect start involves one of their incredible homemade muffins and a perfectly brewed coffee.

Then, I retreat to what I lovingly call “the garden.” This isn’t your average outdoor patio; it’s a wonderfully quiet, covered sanctuary nestled within the building’s center, with charming wooden chairs gathered around rustic tables. On Sunday mornings, it’s a peaceful oasis – truly a little slice of heaven.

What to Know for Your Visit:

Cozy Inside: The main coffee shop is intimate with a few indoor tables, but the real gem is that central “garden” area – definitely explore it!

Parking Perks: Sundays are a breeze for street parking, but if you’re visiting on a weekday, there’s a convenient parking garage right next door.

Amenities: There’s one restroom available for guests.

Bike-Friendly: Cyclists, rejoice! Feel free to bring your bike inside while you grab your coffee and unwind.

Visiting, and came here 2 days in a row. Coffee is great, and such a relaxing area to chill at. Great if you want to get out of the house to study or get some work done. Past 2 days haven’t been crowded; and super fast service. Workers were really nice as well

Neat spot, great coffee. Pretty strong flat white, I enjoyed it. There is mostly outdoor seating but it’s super nice. The indoor seating is minimal but comfy while waiting. There doesn’t seem to be outlets and there is wifi. Didn’t really know where to park so I ended up parking in a nearby parking garage. Maybe there is a better option.

Ordered health nut smoothie and when i picked it up there were cubes of ice, pieces of almond butter and it was all ice and water. They couldn’t even blend it. I spent over $8 on this so cold smoothie only to throw it in garbage. I’ll never get anything from here again!!!

A comfortably unassuming little coffee shop, they have fast friendly service and a cool vibe. There is a nice variety of pastries and coffee drinks. I appreciate all the sugar free syrups they have. I had a sugar free hazelnut latte and it was just right. The baked goods look delicious, but I resisted the temptation. I will return.

Absolutely amazing atmosphere, welcoming with a crisp aroma of flora and coffee. Beautiful sunlight lights up the atrium where you can relax and sip on the BEST frappes in Downtown. Friendly staff, great snacks. Oh did I mention complimentary Wi-Fi and such a peaceful setting perfect for catching up on work. A true gem of downtown.
