From the start, Anya Gellerman, the event manager, made the whole process easy. She was patient, super responsive over phone and email, and helped with every question or request I had.
On the day of, Rana, the General Manager, met me, walked me through everything, and gave us time to set up and decorate. She kept checking in throughout the night to make sure things were going smoothly, which I really appreciated.
Our server, Korey Johnson, was hands down one of the best parts of the night. He took care of a big group with tons of food and drink orders and handled everything like clockwork. He was on top of everything, really personable, and honestly just a great guy to have around. Alona and Julie also helped keep things moving, bringing out food nonstop and making sure we never had to wait on anything.
The private space was perfect, the vibe was great, and the staff and management really went above and beyond. If you’re planning an event or even just stopping in for dinner and drinks, I’d definitely recommend Jackie.
Huge thank you to the whole team for hosting our event, we’ll for sure be back.
They always have a few specials that change frequently, which keeps things interesting. My best advice is to order a pasta dish. I was told the head chef is Italian and that all the pasta is made fresh in-house, which you can absolutely tell. It makes all the difference. Last time I had a special with spinach fettuccine, broccoli, mussels, and shrimp in a garlic evoo sauce, and it was fantastic. The portions are just right — filling but not over the top.
I ordered a cosmo, which was good, and my boyfriend got a mule that tasted flat. It seemed like they might’ve forgotten the ginger beer or used one that had gone flat. Not a huge deal, but definitely noticeable.
For dessert, I had the cheesecake, which was light and fluffy. More like a Japanese-style cheesecake than a dense New York slice.
The vibe here is great too: good music, cozy lighting, an enclosed patio with heaters, a full bar, and plenty of indoor seating. Definitely one of the best spots in Navy Yard. I’ll be back soon.
The restaurant is warm, well furnished and the staff is super welcoming and the menu is delicious. Perfect place for a special event.
