My daughter and I have been on a teriyaki spree during our trip, so we decided to give this place a try. The online menu doesn’t show everything they offer. Besides the usual chicken and beef teriyaki bowls and plates, they also have wraps, salads, and quesadillas. You can also get brunch/breakfast items like waffles, crepes, pancakes, and smoothies. A very wide range of options. The shrimp options are crossed off the menu in the store.
The lady behind the counter was super nice and patient as I couldn’t decide what I wanted. My daughter got a chicken wrap, and I got a half-and-half beef and chicken teriyaki bowl. The meat was well-cooked (the beef was not chewy but very tender), but the teriyaki sauce is served on the side or on top of the meat, not seared and marinated in it. It was good but not as good as some other teriyaki places we visited, and the price was the same.
The store was very clean, and everything was made to order. There is a small seating area outside. We would eat here again if we didn’t have other options.

Bought a large chicken bow with veggies. For almost $12 I got a ton of rice with small pieces of chicken and about 4 pieces of veggies. Place was empty. Cashier was unfriendly. Not sure I’ll be back. Plus it’s new owners from what I saw. Not Japanese couple.

Has this place closed permanently? I’ve called several times different days and there’s no answer. I also drove by and it’s been closed. It’s a waste of time to try to order something from this place. I wish the owners were more responsible to update their business hours here on Google and on their door. UPDATE 2-19-25: I visited this restaurant recently. They have changed hands. They still serve the chicken/beef bowls but today I got a chicken bowl and the pieces were rather smaller than when the previous owners ran this place. They packed the rice and veggies but the chicken pieces were close to being shredded. Not my preference getting the chicken like this.

What happened to this place, the food use to be good and now it’s just bad. I ordered 2 chicken and steak plates and unfortunately it tasted as I was eating yesterdays left overs just heated back up. Both the chicken and steak but mainly the steak was extremely dry and tough and the best description I can give you about what our food was like was as if we were served/eating meat directly out of a package of teriyaki jerky that was just warmed up and served on rice.
Also what is up with the hours of this place?¿?¿? They are only open Monday – Friday 11:00am-6:00pm and are closed on the weekend. Unfortunately with how bad my food was and the lack of operating hours this place is actually open for I can’t see them lasting here much longer, especially once summer comes around and they will no longer have the same amount of customers coming in from all of the hungry kids walking/driving over across the street from Marina High School while on their lunch break or after they get out of school for the day because most people will be at work or driving home from work when this place is actually open and for whatever reason they are closed when the majority of adults would be spending the most amount of money I.E. dinner on week nights or anytime on the weekends when more people would be together for a meal which translates to the more mouths that eat=a higher bill/more business.

This is one of my favorite places. The food is not made until after you order. It’s always fresh and hot. They have delicious purple rice and the spicy chicken is perfect. The gyoza come with a unique sauce that is wonderful. Vegetables in the bowls are large and high quality as is the chicken. Although the foods is not prepared until you order it, the orders still come out pretty quickly. They are also very friendly.

I tried them out today. They are super nice. The food was really good. It was a good sized portion for a chicken bowl. I recommend getting the sauce on the side. I definitely recommend that you try them. Support small businesses!!

Before COVID hit, I remember having a Teriyaki Chicken bowl from this small place. And was very good. Recently I tried their Steak bowl and the steak was of poor quality and did not taste freshly cooked. I do hate giving this business 1 star because I know they’re a small business and I know they were closed during COVID. But in the end for $10.99 a bowl, they could’ve sold me a better quality meat instead of the tough over cooked poor quality steak.
