We finally got a chance to try Original Pizza at their new location. Very nice building, very clean and modern finishes. Service was great as always. I ordered ahead of time for the Detroit style pizza. The pizza was ready on time and came out fresh. The toppings were a generous amount as was the cheese. The cheese was nice and stringy and tasted like a good quality. I ordered the sauce light, tasted great and well seasoned, a little on the sweet side. The crust was definitely the star of the show. Beautifully cooked, light and airy with the crispy cheese cooked into the crust. Always a good experience at Original Pizza, definitely worthwhile to check them out.

LOVED this place. Until they switched locations and the wife started working there. Ever since she started working there, my order is messed up every single time, never had a problem before. The owner is nice I’ve known him for about 8+ years from his old location. Today I order 1 large pepperoni and 1 large cheese pizza and 2 sauces. I wait about 15-20 mins and she hands me the cheese one, I thought okay the pepporoni isn’t done yet. I waited 25 mins while she was there on her phone while she saw us waiting and didn’t say anything! She then argued with me calling me a liar saying we said 1 cheese pizza and that’s what I was charged for. Okay well I ordered 2 and thought I was charged for 2, that’s your mistake and you can’t admit that? I’ve been siting here waiting and now this one’s cold! She told me she didn’t care it was messed up, then you shouldn’t be working in this type of business. Very aggressive, mean women.

It’s within walking distance to my house so that’s exciting, I slowly watched the sad building turn into the beauty Original Pizza has turned it into on my morning walks to work. We ordered pickup, got a large, 3 topping pizza & 2 dips all for under 20$! Prices are good and the pizza was even better, the garlic sauce was amazing!

I was really looking forward to trying Original Pizza after all the news about their giant slice. When I arrived, I was very fortunate to get a fresh slice coming out of the oven. There is only so much you can do with a conveyor belt style oven, quality wise. The crust had a nice crisp to it so I would rate it 7.4/10. I did expect more but for $5, you can’t beat those prices in this day and age. The person working was friendly unlike the pizza maker who looked like he would rather be anywhere else. I wasn’t disappointed I came but likely wouldn’t return. Also, I wasn’t crazy about them putting the garlic sauce cup on top of the pizza as you can see by the indent in the slices.
This wasn’t for me but it may be someone else’s favourite pizza so give them a try and decide for yourself. As I said before, you can’t beat those prices!!
