Umami fries- should have used a sauces to dip a bit acidic
Fish sandwich- flaky good
Curry dog- hot dog itself great quality, sauce taste a lot like the sauce used for curry chicken salad
Overall pretty solid place
The restaurant was spotless, and we were warmly greeted as soon as we walked in. Ordering was quick and easy, too. We tried the umami fries, edamame, the wasabi burger, and a plain hamburger with katsu mayo — loved every bite. Flavorful American diner comfort with an Asian fusion twist.
They also had board games available (maybe a holiday thing?), and we had a blast playing Trouble. The Pop-O-Matic still has its magic! We’ll definitely be back.
Wasabi burger was decent. Kali dog was okay, but would have been better with much less pickled ginger. Our friends tried the wings and also said they were good. Their yuzu lemonade was pretty tasty and refreshing.
The timing/wait for our food was normal and adequate. The restaurant was pretty clean. The staff was friendly and willing to help us for our first time there. We’ll be sure to try it again if we’re ever in the area.
It’s definitely pricey but I’d rather have one incredible meal than 2 mediocre ones from a different place.
The restaurant is clean and comfortable. Except for the absolutely blaring music. It is distressingly loud and prevents me from dining indoors, though most of my friends are unbothered. This is consistent.
