I’ve been wanting to try the Whitehorse for a while. Tend to gravitate to older diners with some History.
While I don’t know all the History yet….its my understanding the White Horse was established in 2006? The building, Diner and Decor say 1950’s.
There’s a quaint counter with swivel seats to sit for your meal if you choose. There’s also intimate seating of tables; some inside and some outside, weather permitting.
I was looking to go back in time for breakfast last Saturday; mission accomplished at the White Horse.
The daily specials are written on a white board hanging on the wall. The staff is friendly and genuinely glad you came. The atmosphere and vibe at the White Horse is fun, friendly and inspiring.
They were quite busy but, I was welcomed, seated, had my coffee and order taken within five minutes of my arrival.
I was shocked at the low prices on the menu. There are plenty of options for breakfast under $10.
Decided to try my favorites and see how they did? Ordered Eggs Benedict, Crispy Scrapple with crispy home fries.
It looked perfect when they brought it out. It tasted even better. The eggs were poached perfectly, the English muffins were toasted, Canadian bacon cooked to perfection and the Hollandaise was as good as it gets! An “eggsellent” breakfast!
To top it off, their coffee is not your ordinary “tin” tasting diner coffee. It was rich, earthy and delicious.
They serve breakfast, lunch and diner closed on Mondays, only opened 5am-12pm Sundays.
An easy drive from any direction and plenty of parking. Looking forward to trying dinner someday soon.

Old but Gold: Don’t Judge a Book by Its Cover.
This restaurant might seem a bit old from the outside, but once you step in, you’re transported into a world of incredible flavors!
The soup was simply divine, and each spoonful was an explosion of delights in my mouth.
Don’t let the exterior appearance deceive you. This place is a hidden gem that’s definitely worth a visit!

Only been there for breakfast: typical diner-style food, but it came hot and was very good, and comes with free-flowing hot coffee. Sausage links are good. Smoked sausage is also a breakfast item and it’s delicious. Staff is awesome! Friendly and helpful. Atmosphere is homey: early morning regulars are very nice people. Between the staff, regulars, and the food it makes for an enjoyable way to start the day. I highly recommend this diner for individuals who are comfortable sitting at the counter or at a small table. I do not recommend this diner for large families (of more than 4) or for large groups unless prior arrangements or you call before you come. as there are a limited number of tables and the diner can become very crowded. Diner hours are limited to morning & early afternoon.

This is a small place, you wouldn’t think to go in but man we were glad we did! I had the chipped beef, it was the best I’ve ever had! It was thick and had a slight smoke flavor to it. Absolutely delicious My dad had an omelet and we both left stuffed and surprised at how low our bill was. The waitress was great, checking in and making sure we had what we needed, I definitely reccomend this diner! It does not disappoint

The chip beef gravy over toast with home fries was probably some of the best I have ever had. The diner was incredibly small, but cozy. The service was excellent. And the prices were definitely reasonable. This may be my permanent breakfast restaurant. You will not be sorry if you guys eat here

You will not go hungry here. Got the country fried steak. Very low price for what you get. My wife got the hunter platter. Great smoke sausage. Went 8 am on a Saturday not an empty seat in the place.

The food is fantastic and the prices are 20 years behind the times. Was here earlier today for the first time in a couple years (it’s out of the way from where we live). We had the same waitress as last time (who was excellent) and 4 of us ate for $32. Definitely not a large place and we had to wait about 5 minutes outside for a table – but is a great bargain for the quality of the food and the great prices. Buyer beware – cash only, but you won’t need much!
