I live about five minutes away from this place and can’t believe I hadn’t tried it until now. The photos on Yelp are what convinced me to give it a shot, and they did not disappoint. When I walked in, the restaurant was super clean and the gentleman at the register was really friendly.
I ordered the beef soba, chicken soba, and the fried shrimp rice—everything looked amazing, smelled even better, and tasted incredible. Truly a hidden gem in the area. I can’t wait to come back and try more of their dishes!

We were visiting Houston for a baseball tournament and stumbled upon this gem near the fields. Decided to give it a try, and it was an absolute hit with our family! My son declared the chicken fried rice the best he’s ever had, and my daughter couldn’t stop raving about the noodles and beef, calling them the best she’s ever tasted. The food was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and made with care. We also tried the seafood pancakes for the first time, and they were a delightful surprise—crispy and delicious! This place is a must-visit for anyone in the area. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in Houston!

The owners are nice. It’s amazing when it’s fresh, but today’s was clearly refried at least a few times and didn’t taste fresh.
The atmosphere is still really dark inside and I wish they would repaint the place.
I learned today they have a website. Ordering there or over the phone if you’re going to pick up is $2 cheaper than using Uber Eats or DoorDash for pickup.

Placed a pickup order online. When I arrived, I was greeted at the door. Nice and cozy dining area. The place looked very clean. All the items in my order were delicious. The teriyaki sauce was sweet and salty. The dumplings had some crunch to them but also soft inside. The California Roll tasted fresh. Will be coming back soon for more.

I ordered Japanese curry with chicken for dinner. Unfortunately, what I received was not curry. It also had meat other than chicken. Luckily I do not have any dietary restrictions, or it would have been $14 down the drain.
I think the food was okay, the broccoli was a bit soft/mushy. Rice and meat were acceptable.
I will update the review whenever I revisit this place in the future.

This small little kitchen is tucked away in its own little corner of an unassuming small strip center. Shadowed by the HEB next door, it’s easy to miss. I’ve passed this place by so many times without notice or second thought. Until my boy, Miguel, mentioned that he actually eats here all the time.
Today, I finally decided to give it a try. I’ll be honest, the $10 plus price for a plate was a little off-putting for lunch, but what the heck, I had some Uber eats credit to burn, so I placed an order for the namesake teriyaki chicken with white rice and off I went to pick up my order at this tiny restaurant tucked away in the corner.
The place is as small inside as I had imagined. But, it was nice and clean, much nicer than I imagined. The old lady at the counter had trouble locating my order, which is odd as I was only the 3rd person in there. After a little confusion she handed me my food without fanfare.
I opened the package at home and was pleasantly surprised to find a good sized portion awaiting me. The sauce smelled excellent and tasted just as well. “Mhmm, good sauce. I really like the sauce” – my wife. I gobbled it all up at once after letting my wife take her sample. Everything was on point and I am satisfied with my lunch option.
In short, the food is great, but the service… not so much. Which is fine, because this is what I expect from tasty hole in the wall asian places. I’m here for the food, not the service.

The salmon bento was fantastic with a super crispy skin on fillet and great tasting sauce. The spicy edamame had a really nice sweet and spicy sauce, and it was a very good portion. I will definitely return with and recommend to friends.
