I shouldve looked at reviews first but when youre hungry and you first get off the plane in the B concourse…i thought why not. And then the entire experience made sense why there was no line & one staff member. After spending 15 minutes waiting and being the only person there I knew i should have left. But i stayed long enough to pay $24 for a brisket sandwhich and chips. The food was ok.. but they use Sweet Baby James which is notorious for having high fructose corn syrup and practically nothing natural. So i got the Damn Good sauce instead. The employee was shocked i didnt go for the S BJ sauce. The bun held up against all the drippy sauce to keep it from drying out. The ketle chips were crispy and lightly salted. But wow what a long wait in an airport…and they know you have a connecting flight. Skip this.

Meh. If you are checking the reviews, they are accurate. I didn’t expect a lot. It’s an Airport, but come on guys. The service was very unwelcoming. I hope that was an off day. The place right next door is good. Should have just gone back there.

Very fast service. However the wipe off menu board said add Mac and cheese for 50 cents.
Asked the lady what the sandwich cost by itself.
18 something so I added Mac and cheese. Total came to 24 something. Hit no receipt by mistake. So lots of airport tax I guess.
Pulled pork sandwich was very good. Mac and cheese not.

I read the reviews and was skeptical, but I still gave it a try.

The man behind the counter was jovial and helpful. Portions were more than generous and everything looked and tasted fresh and delicious. My sandwich was piled high with meat.

If I were to look for some cons:
Some items were out of stock, fries could be a bit more crispy and salty, and cost was about $30. I expect the price to be high at the airport, but it was actually a really great meal.

Very impressed!

I don’t know what I was thinking ordering a grease burger before a five hour flight, but I was hungry and they were the only open restaurant without a line (makes sense). If you like watery mac & cheese with a $16+ sandwich, this is your place.

For the low low price of $24, this magic disintegrating sandwich can be yours! Pro tip (I was on a time crunch), if you’re at this God forsaken airport, you see people, and there’s nobody lined up at a food place, don’t go there. There’s a reason. The fact that they charge $5 for fries to go with their $16 sandwiches that come with a box too big for just a sandwich should be telling enough to steer clear. But then again, at Midway, there aren’t really any better options.

Food was fine, but not worth $16. I was really expecting to be wowed for the price but it’s just a bun out of a bag, meat out of a bucket, and some sauce from the counter. Sides like Mac & cheese are another $6. The one woman working seemed inconvenienced by me.

I had a 2-hour layover and noticed this spot right in front of my gate. I asked the staff what their most popular item was, and they recommended the brisket. Unfortunately, that turned out to be a huge mistake. The meat had clearly been sitting in liquid all day and was served lukewarm at best.

Not long after returning home, I came down with the worst case of food poisoning I’ve ever had — severe diarrhea, nausea, and stomach pain. At 65 years old, this was an experience I won’t soon forget. Lesson learned: just because it’s convenient doesn’t mean it’s safe.

Do yourself a favor….DO NOT EAT HERE !!!!

Having a 4 hour layover in the middle of the day I thought I would give this place a try. Certainly smelled good.

As a born and bred Texan, BBQ is all about the meat for me so I asked for my sauce on the side. Thickkkk sauce. Guessing it is made from molasses. Tasted good on the tip of my fork. Sweeeeet.

Nowhere around to sit and eat so I went to the nearest gate (Southwest) and ate there.

As for the meat, it’s pretty lean, as bbq should be, but they leave it soaking in liquid so there was little to no flavor to it. I was “forced” to use the sauce. Which, seemed to get sweeter with each bite. There goes my blood sugar for the next week.

The ladies behind the counter were friendly enough, but I think the cashier added a tip. I got one item and she originally gave me a price, then she said oh wait, did something on the register, then have me another amount that just happened to be 30% higher. Fifteen each I guess. LOL

All in all, not a bad meal for an airport and I ate for less than $10 so shouldn’t break your bank.

The pulled pork is tender and juicy. The sauce is nice.
My husband usually doesn’t like BBQ sauce. But he likes this one.
