Friendly staff, reasonable wait time (often quick service anyway), and delicious food!! And they have VEGAN dishes!!! The pho tastes just like home (hands down, best in town!!), the sushi is amazing, and the laab is die for. The prices are a steal for what all you get. I can’t believe I don’t eat here every day.

We stopped here to try it out. This restaurant has been on our list to review. The spicy fried rice was very good and on point with the heat. The pho was alright nothing to highlight or talk about. The sticky rice was a cool purple color. My wife’s only complaint was the ratio of beef to vegetables on her plate more vegetables than protein. Short staff longer wait time but they did warn us right away. Definitely a place to try out and get your opinion on but more than likely will not be back.

Upon my recent visit to Mueang Thai, I found myself grappling with a blend of highs and lows. While the food was undeniably impressive, the overall service left much to be desired.

The wait time for our meals was noticeably prolonged, which can be frustrating, particularly when hunger is building. Additionally, the lack of drink refills during our dinner only compounded this feeling of neglect.

However, the food itself was a standout. Each laab dish we ordered was well-crafted and bursting with flavor. It was evident that great care had gone into the preparation and presentation, making the culinary experience quite enjoyable.

In conclusion, while the quality of the food was exceptional, the slow service overshadowed the evening. I hope that Mueang Thai can improve on its service side to complement its culinary strengths in the future.

Maybe I caught them on an off night, but the pad Thai with added veggies and shrimp was similar to a microwave meal. Dry, flavorless noodles and hardly any veggies added. The appetizer sampler was good, though!

Beautiful decor. Stopped by here with family while touring the city. We were the first ones in and was serviced right away. Food came out quick. My favorite was the bitter intestine dish!

A great change of pace to the traditional Midwest Bar Food Scene. I wish this was closer to me. The menu variety would have me here frequently. Their noodle dishes, like the Pad Thai and Pad See Ew were flavorful. Teriyaki wings were a great start too.

I don’t know if its an off night, but my Pho was absolutely horrible tonight. The beef tasted spoiled and despite me trying to call them multiple times I never got an answer. The brother was tasteless my husband’s was the same. The fried rice was good. However my mom didnt like her shrimp fried noodles either. They were very dry and had 2 small pieces of shrimp in it. Considering it costed almost $80 makes it even more disappointing. I will not be going back, or recommending it to anyone.

I’ve had really good authentic Thai food, and this was not it. Pad Thai tasted like overly salty eggs. No flavor, no heat, just salt. Chicken didn’t look cooked enough, some pieces were kind of pink inside. Egg rolls were okay but the peanut sauce tasted like it came from a jar at the grocery store. Super disappointing.

Could barely take photos before we started eating it was so appetizing. I love this place. I just saw they have an unlimited sushi special I’ll have to try. The Thai tea was amazing, the apps are amazing, we got the house roll sushi, mussels, and spring rolls

Went to Muang Thai and ordered the Blazing Shrimp. They offer 5 levels of spice: Mild, medium, spicy, Thai spicy, and one spicier than that but I don’t remember what it was called because I wouldn’t dare consider it for myself I ordered mine at “spicy” level with a side of plain fried rice and I loved it!! You got quite a few (as seen in the photo, approximately 10-12) of good sized, properly cooked shrimp and some lightly sautéed, still crisp veggies, exactly how I like them. Not pictured was a side of rice which was very large. My daughter and I ended up sharing this meal because I ended up bringing home half- it was more than enough to feed us both.

I would say the spice level I chose was at the top of my tolerance level but no complaints as I hate when I order “spicy” food that is bland. Definitely not the case here. Next time I will likely order medium as after eating a few bites the heat just took over my mouth, but this did make me eat slower so maybe not a bad thing?

I also tried my husbands teriyaki chicken a which was also delicious. It was cooked perfectly and very flavorful and his portion was also large.

The value was great- we both ordered water to drink and with both our meals it was under $30. I gave 5 stars for the

In addition to awesome food, the service was great too. Prompt and friendly. The atmosphere was nothing fancy but it was clean. There is plenty of parking and it is wheelchair accessible.
