This place had a solid happy hour, which runs daily. The chips and queso con carne were tasty and came at a large serving size for the price. Tacos were pretty large. Between the mushroom, shrimp, al pastor, and chicken tinga tacos, I most enjoyed the mushroom but all were good.
I didn’t love the taste of the frozen marg and the chubby marg on the rocks was a bit sweet and syrupy (ultimately I prob preferred the frozen, as did my girlfriend). Nevertheless good value and they have further discounts on drafts.

Well has to be now I’m doing the greatest medically stage four cancer so a lot of things I can no longer eat or drink and the waiter. Sean was awesome when I was looking to do something warm and they don’t have warranty but he did make me warm water with some lemon Absolutely fantastic. I had the Caesar salad also very good. I just can’t eat much the tacos five different kinds that were tried all got rave reviews. The service was fast. The atmosphere is great tons of people sports on the TV. Great temperature a whole area to sit outside if you want or you can sit on one of the stools looking outside there’s tons of seating around the bar, along with bench seating andI would definitely suggest it as a change in pace

The tacos are mid at best, cold fillings, bland, and subpar ingredients. Pork on the Al pastor tacos had the consistency of dog food. You can find way better and cheaper tacos at any spot on Federal. The service was great though, friendly and personable. Management just needs to let the back of house cook.

This place is so fun! Highly recommended to meet up with your tribe, have dinner and drinks before heading into a show. The tequila drinks are delicious especially the Chubby Bee. I love chubby tacos!

We really enjoyed the food at Chubby Unicorn. The queso was so yummy! We also had four different types of tacos, and they were all so good. The Marg was tasty too.

Quick look on opening week for a preshow drink on a busy night while Sturgill Simpson was playing. Returned a few weeks later on a non-show evening for tacos. Will be interesting to see how they balance the feast or famine crowds on nights with shows vs those without. Great spot in any event and a nice add to Mission concert offerings next door

I brought my granddog with me and we sat out on the patio. The amazing staff was so fantastic to me and to my dog. They brought out water for him and even a treat. I just cannot say enough how great your staff is! The food is fantastic The margarita was delicious! Just a great place to eat!

So fun! Cute little space with good food, fun drinks, and a lovely view. We shared the asada nachos, kids got the disco lemonade and loved the glitter. Board games available to play.

The queso was grainy and tasted like they burnt the roux or something, so we sent it back and got guac instead. The guac was passable, but I’ve had better at fast casual places. The chips had a glue like smell that was really off-putting. The tacos were just meh. Staff was friendly and nice about us sending the queso back. But I’m unlikely to go back.
