We had an outstanding waitress tonight at Shoeless Joe’s, KK. She was prompt, attentive, very personable and made our evening. And the Rib special was delicious.

I do like going to Shoeless Joes for pizza or a sandwich and drinks. But,…A friend of mine who was there told me he and his wife saw a dog inside the building while eating there. According to Florida law, pets and comfort dogs are NOT allowed inside restaurants because of open face food. I am strictly allegeric to dogs and cats and can not be anywhere around them. Shoeless Joes need to comply with the Florida code of law and tell the people to remove the dog and not bring them into the building. They are allowed on the outside eating area but definitely NOT on the inside. This is going to determine if I eat there again or not.

This was our 2nd time eating here while in Ft. Myers and it didn’t disappoint. The Restaurant itself is decked out in sports memorabilia and it’s tasteful not tacky. It’s been very clean when we’ve gone and that’s been at lunch & dinner hours. Portions are plentiful. Food is very good. Waitstaff was very friendly, timely and accommodating. They have an outside area to eat in now which I’m sure is great with a nice breeze flowing thru. We chose to sit inside with the very nice AC. We got the spinach artichoke dip..it had great flavor, came with chips and salsa. Definitely would get again. Then for entrees we had the Salmon and the Blackened Chicken Alfredo. Both were delicious and enough food that we could not finish. Plenty of parking and handicap access was provided. We would absolutely come here again and recommend to our Family & Friends.

Recommend the Firecracker Shrimp appetizer and the Salmon with Mashed Potatoes.

The shrimp was cooked perfectly and the spicy mayo sauce gave it the perfect kick. The salmon was the biggest plank I’ve had at a restaurant around here and it was very delicious. Perfect place to kick back when the games are on.

We came here to try it out since it was stayed at Crown Plaza, but the food was alright. I love the sport atmosphere and enjoyed watching the games/looking at pictures. The waitress was nice and friendly. The teriyaki wings was greasy. The quesadilla was very greasy and the fish sandwich. I hope the next time we come around, it will be better, but it’s a nice place to watch sports and drink.

Great place for lunch. Had the angus burger done medium. It was just a little pink and juicy in the middle which is how I like it. When we entered they said sit anywhere so I picked out a 6 person table and immediately got a there is only 3 of you you can’t sit there. 98 year old wwii and Korea war dad had shrimp scampi and wife had smothered chicken. We all liked our meals. The place was pretty empty. We normally go to Bahamas breeze on sundays but dad said shrimp scampi was better at shoeless Joe’s. If you like baseball memorabilia this is the place.

While staying at the Doubletree this week on business, we thoroughly enjoyed the convenience of this restaurant being connected to the hotel. Great relaxed atmosphere, good food at reasonable prices, happy hour from 11-8, and especially great service from KK & Lee! Also enjoyed fun Bingo and Trivia on Tuesday & Thursday with good music! Look forward to our next business trip!
