The best Indian food in the Northern Rivers! My partner and I eat here or order take away once a month and it is always consistently delicious. My go to now is the butter chicken and the aloo baingan but every dish we’ve ordered over the last two years has been delicious. The service here is also outstanding with the staff super friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended.

Best traditional Indian restaurant in the northern rivers!
Portions are great sized with ample of exciting flavour. Staff are super kind and helpful, we arrived for takeaway just as they were beginning to pack up for the night however they were more than happy to serve us, even added in some free rice!
Can’t wait to return tomorrow, and probably the day after that and the day after that then also likely the day after that….

First time ordering from here, I was expectant of flavour, authenticity and portion size.
Ordered Chicken Kadhai, Chicken biryani, Kashmiri naan and a spinach chat.
Kadhai was very tame in flavour, no real spicey flavour, and a smaller container, but ok.
Biryani was a mess of orange and white rice, with a few pieces of chicken and massively over salted, not nice at all.
Spinach chat was fridge cold, and the fried bread( was it fried bread?) in it tasted of oil, had a bitter taste, not good.
Kashmiri naan was ok, at least it wasn’t smothered in butter but, the filling was just sweetened coconut, couldn’t taste or see any nuts or fruit.
One thing Id like to mention, why are poppadums $4 each??
Overall, I was very disappointed, saying that, I shall try them again with other dishes another time to see if it was just a one off.

Great food with very generous portions and super friendly staff. I had the chicken tikka masala, and it was absolutely delicious. My friends ordered the lamb korma and beef madras, and both were just as amazing. Everything was full of flavour — highly recommend this place!

The most amazing delicious food, always delicious fresh, aromatic and fantatsic value for money.
We live 25 minutes away and have Indian food on our doorstep but happily drive to Ocean Shores for either take away or eating in.
The people are wonderful and the food is outstanding.
Not to be missed.

I’ve cooked Indian cuisine professionally and at home for probably 40 years. These guys are excellent. The meat is the tenderest possible., veg dishes soo authentic North, the tandoori works a treat. Love the friendly cheekiness of front of shop. I hope you hang around.
