We ordered the chicken katsu and the Hawaiian BBQ mix.
The drive thru was a just little busy at 5pm, and it took about 10 minutes from ordering to receiving my order. But I understand that cuz it’s only been grand open for about two months, so I think the employees are still getting used to it and have a lot to learn.

The taste was great!
I’ll definitely come again!:)))

Lunchtime and past this area, was heading towards the Chick a fillet but decided to eat here instead, which is right next door.

The place is really new, large, clean and with a huge outside seating dining area. The seats, chairs and even the restrooms are all new and clean too.

However the food, even though it is the same as the location we always go to, the meats were burnt bad…
Other than that great location right off 14 fwy.

everything was very delicious. I really liked the chicken and the beef and the vegetables. Macaroni salad is bomb.

So nice to have an Ono Hawaiian BBQ in town, and the drive thru is so convenient. The different kinds of chicken and beef are great, and mildly seasoned so the flavor of the meat comes through nicely. Chicken, rice, and salad is so much better than burgers and fries, I definitely love this.
Definitely worth stopping here to get some good food.

I’ve been coming to this location since it opened. Never had any major issues. The waits always long, even worse in the drive thru. But in my last visit I found what appeared to be a rivet from a pot or pan in my Mac salad.

Let me start by saying I enjoy Ono Hawaiian BBQ and their food. I have them in Los Angeles all the time so when I saw they opened one in my hometown of Lancaster I was very happy.

Although, the two times I’ve been here they’ve shown an incompetence in management. The team here does not care about service and they all have attitudes. I’m one to always be compassionate and considerate even during long wait times anywhere, I’ll never rush the service teams but this place has an attitude stemming from management.

The first time I tried this Ono in Lancaster I asked the lady if I could have a minute to look at the menu. She gave me an “uhh” then when I said hello she didn’t answer. I thought maybe she didn’t hear me so I said I was ready. Nope, nothing. Then I even pulled out of the drive thru thinking it was the sensor that didn’t detect I was there anymore like some drive thrus have. I pulled out and went to the left lane. Nothing. No response. Another car pulled up and they answered immediately. So I pulled up to the window and she looked annoyed and gave me an attitude. She said they don’t take orders through the window but she told me while giving another “uhhh.”

This time today, the manager took our order. Worst attitude ever! I even asked how she’s doing and she gave an attitude and asked me to pay. I figured she’s having a bad day and I understood. She messed up my entire order. Gave me someone else’s order entirely. I didn’t realize until I got to the other side of the city! Almost 20 minutes away.

I came back in and she gave her coworker a look like she knew what I was about to say. She gave me attitude and asked what I wanted. I told her she messed up my order and she immediately knew which one. She grabbed the bag from the back which had our correct order and she refunded my card then said she had to charge me for the correct food. I asked for a discount or anything since she made me drive back across the city. Without hesitation she said no and asked me to tap my card. I gave up, she was just disgusting. My brother was hungry so we just let it be. We noticed the food was cold and asked if they could heat it up. She said no but they could remake it then said it would take 30 minutes because it’s backed up. She just kept making it difficult with the attitude.

I’m always nice to any service team but the manager here is unprofessional, inconsiderate, and loves to waste people’s time. Maybe she gets a thrill out of it, who knows at this point. Food was cold but good.

I order through drive thru and once I got home I realized they gave me the wrong order at 4:42pm keep in mind I left the restaurant at 420pm. I called the restaurant the woman that answer said she could issue a refund or I can go a different day to get the food. It upset me because I bought food for my girls and I told her that does not help me can it be delivered she said no! I was like wow! I told her I am not going to eat this food what so ever my girls dont have their food now. They said they would give me some type of composition for the inconvenience and nothing was offer what so ever for wasting my time and gas. I had to drive back arrive at 5:14pm they gave me my order at 530pm. The workers and managers need to be mindful of customers time. Not everyone lives in the local area and some have to drive long ways to get to their restaurants.

Chicken Katsu, was a lot of food for a good price. Service was fast and helpful.
The chicken isn’t very meaty but was good & juicy.
One of the better Hawaiian bbq places in the AV.

This place is new to our valley and I don’t like fast food but this is sooo good. It’s fast, fresh and delicious. The restaurant is always full.

Average chicken and rice, they charge 5 bucks for 2 little scoops of Mac salad, 30 dollars for a basic aloha plate “musubi” which is more rice than spam and Mac salad. If this would have been have the cost it justified it, otherwise, a waste of money really.
