Ordered online for takeout. The female staff gave my order to someone else. It’s her mistake to give it to someone without checking email confirmation. I asked her to make my order, she refused and kept saying that it was picked up. Like a broken record. I asked for the owner or manager. Then another employee decided to work on my order. Mistake happens. But refuse to admit it with the attitude.

Recently went to Subway and ordered a salad. I was instantly welcomed by SK and received great customer service throughout my whole order. UPDATE 4/4/24. I am glad to report that it appears this subway has resolved the issues I previously mentioned. I’ve ordered several times since the previous update, and I am glad to day every single order has been PERFECT! It’s so nice to see a place be responsive and improve!

The receipt now prints out exactly what you requested when ordering online. Unless the sandwich maker makes an honest mistake they just won’t get it wrong. If literally tells them how much of each item to put on your sandwich.

THANK YOU TO THE OWNER FOR ADDRESSING THE ISSUES! Kudos!

Previously:

This subway location, Daniel Stewart square in Woodbridge VA, consistently attempts to short customers. When ordering online, they NEVER put double meat. When you call and complain, they will make another sandwich with more meat, but it is not doubled as advertised. I gave up on getting accurate delivery.

Today (10/31/23 AT approx 12:15pm) I go to the store and place an online order, because I am physically unable to stand in line. I speak up and remind the sandwich maker several times it is supposed to have DOUBLE meat, not 50% more. Turns out the maker is the MANAGER, still attempting to give me 50% more steak, insisting that is DOUBLE meat, which of course IT IS NOT. Double is advertised, I paid for double, and I want what I ordered – nothing more. VERY Reluctantly she says “I’ll add more this time only.”

So be cautious if you pay for double, they aren’t giving you double.

Edit: I am revising the review and ratings after email conversations with the franchise owner who assured me repeatedly the issue is being taken care of. Apparently this is an issue of training, and the employees, as I understand it, will be retrained to distribute proper portions. The next time I go to Subway I will find out if the issue has been fixed for good and if so I will provide an update to the review.

Yesterday afternoon I went to buy a Subway, terrible service, the girl with the big angry and serious face didn’t even greet me, she just saw me serious, not even a smile, nothing when I was ordering my Subway, I told her what I wanted, in the end she didn’t give it and I told her that I put what I had put on her. She looked at me with a serious face and was very sharp. I think she is from Afghanistan because of her facial features. I don’t know. Unfortunately, the place is nice, but with the employees they have, it’s not so good. I hope she’s the other one. Every time you go, even if it’s just smile because you go there to shop, you don’t get free food and they greet you with such terrible behavior:/

I ordered my food got ready to pay and the manager rings my order up wrong. I wasn’t paying attention as I scanned my card and paid. She then says, wait I charged you for someone else’s order. Then proceeded to correct the error and gives me the receipt that was supposed to be for the refunded order. Then proceeded to ring up my correct order. Now my card has been charged twice. I waited 9 days for the refund to be processed back to my account and its still not there. I contacted my bank and was told that there was no refund pending and that I should contact the merchant. I go back to Subway with my receipt and I was told that the manager was on vacation and no other person could help me. I was then told that she would be in the next day after 11pm. So I go back around 2pm. This time I’m told that the manager and any shift leaders are gone. I asked who was in charge and the cashier said know one. At this point I’m convinced that I will not be getting my 27.00 refund as I will not be going back

I asked for the last 6 chocolate chip cookies, but the blk woman with short haircut refused to give me that amount because she didn’t want to bake any more cookies for the rest of the night. Horrible customer service and lazy workers!

As some of the other reviewers already mentioned, the service here sucks. The staff act as if doing their basic job functions are above and beyond. They pretend they can’t hear you, and when you ask for a second time, they get an attitude as they carry out the request. This location could close down, and no one would miss it.

Very disappointed in this location Subway Daniel Stuart Square location . 3 out of 4 times my order has been incorrect or missing items . I ordered 2 subs . Did not ask them to toast them but they did. I had ordered chips and drinks also . The chips and drinks were forgotten . I even put a note on my order please don’t forget my chips and cokes . It’s subways responsibility to have the order ready correctly for an online pick up . .I won’t go back . 3 strikes your out subway. Jim.

I believe there is a new employee there by the name of Tali or TL and she is very polite, accommodating, helpful, and one heck of a multitasker! She’s always really busy in store and also handling online orders but still keeps a smile on her face and has been patient with every customer. I have been there three times now with very specific orders due to my parent’s health issues and she’s always been wonderful. I stopped going to this location awhile back because of bad experiences but I will keep coming here as long as she’s here. We only can afford to order out once a week and it so happens I’ve had the pleasure of dealing with her every Friday for the past month or so. I hope she gets the recognition she deserves!
