Absolutely degusting I ordered jollo of Rice with beef and pepper soup..
Food was dry absolutely no flavor.
My soup was finished as if someone had eattin it already.
I’ve been craving African food lately I figured I’ll give them a try I’ll never order from this place again. Their African food is the worst I’ve had.

Had some Nigerian food cravings and google came in handy.

I ordered for delivery, it took a little bit but it was super worth it.

I had some traditional Nigerian food before and of course the bar was high, this restaurant did not fail to deliver.

My picks were suya (seasoned beef) and pepper soup (yes peeper seasoned beef in soup. Both very tasty and deliciously spicy, not for people who can not handle it.

I only gave 4 stars because I felt the serving for the pepper soup was a little small in comparison to suya which it was an appetizer and it had a little more than the soup I ordered.

Definitely coming back for more.

I was excited when I found this restaurant online. I placed my order over the phone. I ordered Ewa Agoyin, Suya and Shawarma. I was drooling at the pictures of the food online because it looked palatable, I was also informed by the owner that their Ewa Agoyin is the best in Maryland, that even made me drool more.

Surprisingly, when I arrived I was met by an unfriendly owner(came across as snotty), maybe she was having a bad day, regardless, you should always put on a friendly smile and demeanor as a business owner. The young lady at the cash register was also extremely unprofessional and unenthusiastic. It doesn’t end there, the lady preparing the food was also extremely unprofessional, she did not have gloves on and rather than get my food ready she was talking angrily with someone in the kitchen while preparing the food (You can see the kitchen from the food pickup area) thereby causing a delay. I was not surprised at the level of service because unfortunately Nigerian restaurants do not know what good service entail. The Nigerian clientele does not care, they accept anything thrown at them. I am Nigerian… I have been to a dozen Nigerian restaurants and the service and quality of food is always lacking. The only Nigerian restaurant that I have ever experienced good service outside of Nigeria is a restaurant called Enish in London.

Let us move on to the most important part, “the food”. Remember how I said the owner told me their Ewa Agoyin was the best in Maryland, I can’t dispute that claim because what they call Ewa Agoyin is actually not Ewa Agoyin, it’s merely beans and fried stew, it did not taste good either. I make better beans in my house, I had to trash the beans. It was bland and tasteless. I cannot believe they call that Ewa Agoyin! They should be fined for the deceit. If you cannot make it, do not sell it.

The Shawarma would have been nice, but it was 20% beef and everything else was lettuce and mayonnaise. Shawarma should contain at least 50% beef. I ordered beef Shawarma not lettuce Shawarma (might have been cabbage). The Suya was decent. Overall, nothing to write home about. Nigerian restaurant owners and all their employees should consider taking customer service classes.

Ordered using one delivery app and the order was canceled my the restaurant without explanation. Went to use a different delivery app and it was accepted. Then the restaurant changed my order from a side of chicken to lamb, didn’t consult me, and charge me a higher price. When I called to find out why, they said the delivery was already on the way. Thankfully, the second delivery app was helpful and refunded that meal.

However, some from the restaurant responded to my comments with completely incorrect information and didn’t take any accountability for their actions. Instead, deny and deflect.

Unfortunate because actually liked their food, but will not order again after this poor customer experience.

Before they reply to comments, make sure the person knows the details of the transaction.

Do better person at Manna Diner!

I ordered the 6 sticks of the beef suya and it was delicious and spicy! It reminded me of the suya from the streets of Lagos. The portion size was really huge too. They sell 3 sticks for $10 and there was a lot of meat on each stick. The only thing off was the temperature… it could have been a little hotter. This could have been my fault too because I ordered ahead and picked it up a few minutes after the time they said it was going to be ready. Otherwise everything was good! Definitely will be back!

Wanted some Nigerian food & didn’t feel like cooking it myself, so had my son pick some up today when he said he was going to Laurel. I was totally shocked to see that the Egusi container was less than half full! The portion was so small, it was terrible, sha. I saw that & felt like I had been robbed. It was delicious, but not at all worth $40 I paid for my son & I! Looks like I will have to continue to drive to Baltimore to get my Nigerian food…prices are comparable, but portion sizes are much better.

The food tastes great and fresh, guarantee 99% organic and great customer service. The tall guy is great and the lady with low hair cut is always helpful. Trust me you’ll come back for more. I already stopped cooking at home.
