Get ready! At first glance you may think nothing of it, but you are wrong to assume. This local bar with its rustic charm in the middle of America will wow you with their classic dishes that we all know and love. The fried Okrak was so delightful, the grill marks on my steak were a pleasent surprise. I asked for my rib eye (comes with two sides) to be cooked medium and I was in hog heaven to say the least. Juicy and savory. When I asked for a side of horseradish, they asked if I wanted it mixed with mayonnaise (Because creamy horseradish is choice) My husband and I were so well taken care of. It’s worth the drive on a mundane weekend. Take a drive and enjoy the Midwest treasures that the Flunt Hills have to offer. I gave 5 stars because this is a nostalgic real home cooked type of place.

Food was very good. However I felt like the staff wasn’t very friendly. I felt like the 10 or so customers drinking were going to ask for a rope as soon as we walked in
