The Black Line Tavern is open year-round for dining, live music and events/weddings. The BLT offers quality American dining in an alpine setting on the top floor of Magic Mountain ski area’s lodge with beautiful mountain views and a large deck for outside dining during summer and fall. During the winter, the Tavern is home to southern Vermont’s best apres ski scene and the BLT stage brings bands in from all over the region on Saturday nights. Take in the beautiful views and meet new people. It’s a perfect venue for weddings, rehearsal dinners and private parties as well. This is where Magic happens! Dine in or take out!

The BLT hosted our high school Mountain Bike team banquet last night and they could not have been more accommodating or thoughtful. Worked with our craziness and made us feel super welcome and at home. Food was great, service was even better, and our whole crew of about 25 had a wonderful time. I heart the BLT!!!

Me and my friend came for the fall foliage ride and stopped here after for food and drinks. We sat at the bar for 10 – 15 minutes not one bartender/server that walked by us acknowledged us or anything….not even a “Be with you in a minute” …..guaranteed it was busy and we were respecting that. So we finally asked one server walking by if we could get a menu. She nodded her head and walked away and came back with 2 empty glasses and slammed them down in front of us and asked how she could help us and we once again said we asked to see a menu. She walked away and never came back. Everyone else around the bar was being served besides us. We once again waived down a different server and she got us our drinks and we put in our order of food. We have been here before and we liked coming here as the food is good, but as we are not locals to the area we kind of felt unwelcomed. You could tell who were regulars to to the servers and they were put above everyone else. This is why service is getting 1 star as it seemed like a very clicky atmosphere at the bar. Atmosphere I give a 3 star because it is nice looking up at the mountains from the bar.

Good folks! Great company! My kinda food and atmoaphere …. Both delicious!!And sweet sweet music! And getting to gaze out where my band played the first 2 frendly gatherings! If your near by come on in for a place that makes you feel like home( because they’re getting far and few between)!!! Do it twice tonight and call me in the morning!

Went here 4-5 times this Fall. Each time the Tavern was great. Their cheeseburger and BLT were excellent. Our wait staff was very friendly and professional. And we found a great new drink: Bourbon, Lemonade and Ice Tea. We’ll keep coming back!

The Black Line Tavern is the base lodge of Magic mountain ski resort. It is a pretty big place with lots of seating and a nice dance floor. There is a good pub fair menu with generous portions and it was pretty good. They often have bands and events and it’s a fun crowd.

Recently attended the St. Pattys Day show at the tavern. When I asked for the menu, they were running a limited menu for the day – which completely made sense. I have a gluten allergy and am fully gf or I get super sick. They were super busy (of course!) so I asked if there was anything that was ok for me to have. The menu didn’t have anything listed. The bartender then went out of her way to talk to the kitchen and find an item (off menu) that was safe for me, the kitchen safely walked it out to me, and had it prepared separately. I was beyond impressed and blessed!!! The server and kitchen staff are amazing! I was completely prepared to not have anything to eat and to just sit and drink. Rather used to it honestly. Most places do not take the time, or consideration. So incredibly thankful and blown away at their kindness, exceptional guest services, and kitchen quality!
