I took my youngest brother to eat and I found out they have some promo for fried chicken and 2 combo plates for only $23 and the staff also were very kind.
I rodered their fried chicken and 2 plates(both with brown rice, veggies) teriyaki chicken and the other one was beef.
Restaurant was clean.
The staff were curt, but professional. This is near CSUN, so quite a few places have inflated prices- this definitely wasn’t worth the $11.00 I paid.
It used to be one of my favorite go to places for a quick inexpensive lunch. A lot has changed in 2 years-
The bowls have shrunk significantly. What used to be a full meal is now but a mere snack.
When I was there yesterday, I got 3 very small pieces of chicken, part of it was cartilage/bone and very little teriyaki sauce so the chicken was pretty dry.
Did I mention how much the bowls have shrunk?
I have a very small appetite, and I was still very hungry after finishing the bowl about one hour later.
Did I mention how much the bowls have shrunk? Did I mention for $11.00 I got a snack instead of a meal?
I know prices are on the rise, but this felt more like theft. Much more expensive than Panda or some of the other fast food restaurants.
I won’t be going back as this just isn’t worth it anymore- especially when I can just make my own much cheaper.
I’m so disappointed especially after looking forward to having it after so long. Too expensive and not enough food.
Staff member Juan who took my order was super friendly and shows he cares about his work. Awesome!
Came to have lunch order my usual orange chiken bowl with white rice what I got for the price is horrible 3 pieces of orange chiken for $7.79 and its not even original orange chiken it’s chiken nuggets with some kind of sweet sauce. Went to go ask if the portion got smaller the cook was extremely rude and only gave me one more piece of chiken and would not honor my request. As an independent owner USING THE YOSHINOYA NAME it should give the same amount of portion and give original orange chiken not chiken nuggets if I wanted chiken nuggets I would go to McDonald’s
Go figure. Service with no smile and no care….Yoshinomore
