As usual I met my two great brothers for lunch at Waxahchie at a place I have never heard before. We pick places at random. Albeit, we went to a small, but well established BBQ, restaurant called Fingers 2 Tha Bone.
We were warmly greeted by two awesome people working there, Ms. Sheila, and Mr. K.T.
They were both very welcoming, friendly attitude and warm smiles. A draw back, the mostly serve pork and only chicken wings and no bbq chicken awwn.
The BBQ joint/restaurant is very small, but quite quaint very clean in appearance and well organized. Staff were very efficient and offered good advise.
My brother’s got the 1lb brisket, with onion rings and two glasses of tea. I opted for the chicken wings, fries and Dr. Pepper.
Three fountain drinks, $12.75, 1 full pound of sliced brisket $28.99, regular onion rings $7.99, 1 regular potato salad $5.00, the wings w/fries $13.99. The grand total of $81.61 which included a $5.00 tip.
Now, on to the food where do I start without sounding snooty? First, the onion rings were piping hot, crispy and probably one the tastiest onion rings I have ever tasted. My brother’s said that the potato salad was very good as well. I was surprised that they didn’t offer any bread like most bbq joints/restaurant. The brisket was sliced in good lengths the bbq sauces were served on the side and the sweet and spicy were very tasty. Which saddens because the the brisket was really lacking. We found the brisket to be dry, lacking taste and not moist and juicy like most briskets in bbq joints. What shocked me most were the size and portion of wings. The wings looked like they were taken of a Pterodactyl. They were pretty good size crispy, piping hot and very tasty, but the price, I thought more wings would have come with, sadly only three (3), count them 3 wings. At that price I was expecting 6 of them. The fries were very delicious, well seasoned and hot.
I felt this place really didn’t deliver like most bbq joints/restaurant.
Even though the employees are very awesome and hard working, I don’t believe we will visit here again any time soon.
They’re doing something right, because it didn’t lack any customers. I hope y’all will come and support them. Give them a fair shake.

All I can say is god bless these lovely people, the service is AMAZING 20/10. The food is a blessing to eat season to the GODS I tell ya 10/10. I haven’t been to a restaurant to where it makes you feel like your at grandma house and you just eating and laughing with the family. I definitely will be back and I thank yall so much for ya service and food…. GOD BLESS YALL

We found ourselves in Waxahachie yesterday going to 3 different storage unit live auctions and the last one ended up near a BBQ restaurant called Fingers 2 Tha Bone BBQ that the locals were all giving high praises for and suggested we give them a try for lunch. The place is small, but my understanding is that they recently opened this new location and were still settling in.
The outdoor patio seating needs to be cleaned up so people can eat out there if they want the option. We always like to find restaurants with patio seating because our dog goes everywhere with us.
We both ordered the brisket loaded potatoes. They were massive, artfully assembled and very tasty. We had a chance to meet and talk with the owner and pit master. He knows how to smoke a brisket and I can’t wait to go back and try his smoked bologna sandwich. Yummy

We came in after a funeral for an early dinner. The food was delicious and the service was very friendly. We ordered the ribs, brisket, jalapeño sausage with cheese, potato salad and green beans. I only wish we’d been there on Sunday so I could have tried their peach cobbler. We were treated like family. The owner even came in and greeted us. The next time we are in Waxahachie we will definitely be back and recommend!

Upon entering, the initial intention was to order barbecue; however, a recommendation for fried pork chops prompted a shift in preference, and the experience proved to be highly satisfying. We were from out of town so we went based on the Google reviews and I’m so glad we did. The food was the Bomb . Sliced brisket was not dry at all, just fell apart it was so tender. The chopped beef sandwich was so good and we loved the pinto beans and the potato salad. The owners came out and sat and talked with us while we had lunch. Sweet family, very friendly. We had ribs, turkey, potato salad and baked beans which were all excellent. They also gave us a sample of the sliced brisket to try and it was smoked to perfection and melt in your mouth. Can’t wait to go back and try the bologna sandwich! Summerfield and all the employees were beyond friendly and made us feel at home even though we were eating on the picnic table out front with our dogs. They brought our order out to us and checked on us several times to see if we were satisfied with our meals and to see if we needed anything else. Friendly folks with amazingly wonderful food! Will most definitely be eating here again!

We tried this place today for the first time. By far the best BBQ we have had in town. Meat was so moist.and portions were more than we could eat at one time. Owner was friendly and helpful. He answered our questions and told us about his food. We will be back in the future.
