Got a cake for my mom for her birthday and I remembered she told me about this place so gave it a shot.
The lady working there is very nice and gave me a free pastry (of my choosing).
Price isn’t that bad either for a whole cake. Paid $30 for an 8inch cake. You can also get a 10inch cake for $40.
Cake itself is good! Nothing spectacular but it’s solid and my mom liked it so that’s a win in my book.

The bakery is located inside the Hannam Chain Market World supermarket. Saw the high reviews on both Yelp and Google, so we decided to give it a shot and ordered a birthday cake for a family gathering, but we regretted it. The Paris Baguette next door probably would have been so much better in terms of both food and service.
We placed our order for an 8” cake over the phone a couple of days in advance to pick up over the weekend, but when we arrived at the pick up time, there was no cake ready and it looked like they didn’t even have any record of our order. In a bind and short on time, we had to purchase a smaller pre-made 6” cake on the spot from their display case and provide the cake message to the staff again. Not a great experience already. Also, the staff mainly speak Korean, so if you don’t speak the language, communication may be an issue.
In terms of the cake, it was subpar as well. The texture was soft, but not as moist as it could have been. And the mixed berry filling was still very FROZEN when served a couple hours later which made cutting the cake (with the provided plastic cake knife) difficult and the cake itself hard to eat.
Still giving 2 stars for their last minute effort to try to put something together and the lady seemed to want to make up for things by giving us a free pastry bun. But based on our overall experience, the business is not reliable and the cake was not that tasty, so it really doesn’t deserve anything beyond that.

Thoroughly enjoyed their salt bread-it was salty & buttery! So good! Their castella, man joo bread (has white bean paste or the chestnut paste! ) was yummy!Pleasantly surprised and will definitely come back for more!

Love coming to this place. I’d come and order the red bean donut in a case and other goodies offered and the owner is so nice. He’d let me sample some new goodies and they’re all so good. Prices are okay and I always go back.

I was looking for an Oreo cake and this is the only bakery that had one near me. It’s inside the grocery store, near the right side entrance. Everything looked delicious and fresh. But best of all is the service! The kind man that helped me was so sweet and even gave me a few baked goods to go for free. It really touched my heart. Will definitely be back and recommend.

The bakery own is more than friendly and accommodating. We ordered a two layer music themed cake for our 5 year old, it turned out just beyond what i wanted, so simple and elegant! Those whimsical handmade chocolate music notes are the cutest i’ve ever seen! It took just in one day. The cake was a great hit at my son’s birthday party, he couldn’t stop talking about how he had a blast and how tasty the cake was and every kid got to eat a “music note”.
We’ve also tried other pasties and they are delicious as well! Would definitely come back!

I think this is my favorite bakery that beats other korean bakeries like paris baguette and tous les jours. It’s got a very homey, ma and pa vibe, and the owner always greets you with a smile and says a warm farewell. And god, I love their pastries and breads.
