A nice little place off the beaten path. A friend who lives in the Florida Panhandle area likes coming here and brought me. It’s been family run, probably since it opened way back. We both got the fried catfish and it was great. I’d absolutely go back.

I was in town for the week and wanted some “authentic southern BBQ”. I was so happy with what I got.
First let’s start with the atmosphere which is exactly the type of southern bbq pit stop I wanted here. No frills, no fancy anything, just good food. The lady at the counter couldn’t have been more friendly, along with the server. They have self-serve drinks and the sweet tea was awesome.
Then my food arrived and good lord was it good. I got the 5 meat sampler (though they were out of brisket that day). I knew the food was fantastic when I started praising the chicken and I don’t even like chicken. Everything was cooked so well and so flavorfully. I got the fried corn as a side and it was really good as well.
I would eat here every week if I was local. LOVED IT

Great little local place. *BIKERS-dirt parking lot. Just FYI. *LADIES-clean bathrooms! The fried chicken & okra seemed to be breaded in-house. Sawmill gravy was good. The mashed potatoes are REAL potatoes. Pulled pork sandwich is BIG and delicious. BBQ beans and fries are good. We will definitely stop by next time we are in the area!

Such a cute little restaurant. Food was delicious and came out fast. Service was excellent! Prices are great. I went here with four others who thought the same thing. This place is a gem, definitely don’t pass it up!

This place is a hidden gem, and has been a favorite place of mine for years. The atmosphere is visually stimulating, and smells amazing. Living up to it’s name, this place keeps everything real Simple. The menu is straight to the point, and everything you would expect of a BBQ restaurant with the exception of one thing… mac and cheese. They do have a good amount of side dishes to choose from though, and all of them are delicious.
The beef brisket used to be my favorite, but it’s not the same as it used to be. Tougher, and slices are thicker the last few times I’ve been there. It’s still good, just not the same…

Delicious and Friendly!! We were traveling 10 on the highway and found this gem on Google. BBQ chicken was amazing, potato salad was like my grandma used to make. My husband had the brisket sand and corn nuggets – he said they were both amazing! The local said you must try the Philly cheese sandwich! A must stop!

Great customer service and the food was spot on. We had the BBQ combo chicken, beef and ribs. The chicken was moist and tasty. The beef was perfectly cooked and the ribs were tender and juicy. The bbq sauce was the bomb. It’s homemade and sweet and tangy and not salty like other BBQ place we’ve been to. The corn nuggets were so good. It’s a must try side item.
