We had our wedding pies catered by Grand Traverse in Brighton and the pie was a hit! Gail was super pleasant and easy to work with for ordering, and it was a seamless process for delivery and getting the pies to our venue contact. As a bride, I was happy that they were able to take care of those items for me delivering day of and I didn’t have to worry about it. My husband was super excited because he loves pumpkin pie and we were able to get that in August as a catering order. Thank you for making our wedding day special!!

Stopped in for some weekend treats and to use my birthday bonus! They never disappoint… so much goodness and a very friendly crew! Cookies, pie and some jam made their way home with me!

Came here for the last couple of days for breakfast while working in town. I must say, this place is super delicious in every bite I’ve had. You can tell they are using nothing but top-shelf ingredients and fresh fruit to make everything sweet, but the broccoli cheddar quiche was just as perfect too. Today, I tried the beef pasties. This is so unique and perfectly executed with a balance of ingredients and spices. I had never heard of this type of food before today, but I will definitely be back later this week for another one. The staff here is very friendly and welcoming while putting out very high-quality food. I cannot envision anyone being disappointed in trying this place out!

Ordered online for a carry‑out lunch and was really impressed! I tried the soup and sandwich combo — chicken noodle soup with a 1/2 BLT — and both were outstanding. Great flavor, fresh ingredients, and everything was ready right on time. I’ll definitely be back.
The only small downside was ordering through Toast: it only showed three pie‑by‑the‑slice options. I would have loved to add the chocolate mousse pie if it had been available online.

I went there yesterday and purchased a a goodie bar and a small cherry crumb pie. The goodie bar was extremely dry, not chewy. It seemed as if it had been sitting around for a week.The small cherry crumb pie was grossly underbaked. The bottom of the aluminum pan was thick with slop, and the bottom crust of the pie was greasy underbaked. The worst was the crumb topping was slimy gooey and 99% undercooked. It was raw. I tossed it out because I did not want to drive all the way back and did not trust it was safe to eat. I will never go there again. Overpriced garbage.

If you’re a pie lover, Grand Traverse Pie company will not let you down. My favorite is the strawberry rhubarb crumbled pie. The taste is a good,balanced blend between the strawberry sweetness and the tartness from the Rhubarb. Of course, the crust adds a nice flavorful crunch with hints of nutmeg and cinnamon.
I also got a nutmeg cinnamon muffin. Very moist and simply delicious! The service was excellent as the person who took my order was knowledgeable on their products, very attentive to detail, and made recommendations. The atmosphere was good. Not many were in the dining area, but again, it was early morning when I went. I recommend Grand Traverse Pie Company for all your Pie needs!

Just walking in and you can smell the deliciousness. All the pies are on display and they have other food items they sell. Their menu has savory items, beverages, and other goodies. Their service is outstanding. Great place for pies!

Middle aged to older guy extremely rude at the register. That guy needs to stay away from customers. I’ve been to other low and they are great. This one in Brighton, not so much.

I was very disappointed with my recent visit to the Grand Traverse Pie Company in Brighton. The energy from staff was very low—little eye contact, minimal acknowledgement, and no warmth in the interaction despite there being no other customers in the store.
I noticed I was overcharged even though a promotion was being advertised. When I asked about it, the cashier refunded the overage but simply placed the receipt on the counter without explanation. When I asked about the drink that was supposed to be included, I was told it was “coffee only,” which didn’t match the sign. I was then handed a cup without any direction on where to get the beverage.
Overall, the lack of attention, clarity, and customer engagement left me discouraged from returning. With so many other options nearby, I had hoped for a friendlier and more attentive service opportunity.
