The food was great, our waiter was preoccupied with other things. She forgot our drinks and chips/ salsa. She came out informing us that they had ran out of chips. They will be cooking a new batch and will bring them out when they are done. We asked another waiter for our drinks but I guess they were too busy to bring out our drinks. We finally got our drinks when we asked a third waiter by then we were done with our meal. Keep in mind it was slow Saturday around 3-4pm.
There was only 3 other tables, two of them arrived after us and they got their drinks and chips. Sadly, we never got our chips, however she was on point when rushing the bill over.

Saw this place on instagram. So I went. Very nice & friendly staff. I got the carne asada tacos brunch Special. Its was not the best portion size but the flavor was fabulous.
We had two different types of chelaquiles. I must say the poblano chelaquiles were bomb. Know that it is a bit spicy. The cafe de olla was bomb.
All in all I would recommend this restaurant. I will definitely come back w/more friends

Everyone was friendly and food was really good! ☺️
My only thing is that the music was sooo loud especially when the guys would sing. It killed the atmosphere. I took my moms there for dinner because It was her birthday. We couldn’t hear each other talk. Please adjust!

Santo Remedio Flavor, Heart, and $10 Magic
Santo Remedio is the kind of spot that makes you feel like you’ve stumbled into something special. The vibe is warm, the service is genuine, and the food Pure comfort with a twist. Their $10 lunch menu is a total steal think El Burrito, a breakfast burrito packed with beans, potato, egg, and chorizo that hits all the right notes. The Horchata Toast is a standout: French toast dipped in a dreamy homemade horchata sauce.
Other favorites include Chorizo Enfrijoladas tortillas stuffed with chorizo and beans, sizzling Chicken Fajitas, rich Carne En Su Jugo with pinto beans and flank steak, and classics like Chile Verde, Carnitas Michoacanas, Chile Relleno, and the Sope y Enchilada.
And if you’re thirsty, their $7 bar deals are just as enticing. Sip on Mimosas in Orange, Guava, or Strawberry; Margaritas in Lime, Mango, or Strawberry, or a crisp Paloma made with house tequila.
Whether you’re chasing flavor or just a great deal, Santo Remedio delivers with heart and a whole lot of deliciousness it’s a hidden gem with deco that makes you want to Instagram memories, and the food is delicious.

First Visit Was On 12/20/25. There Was No One At The Host/Check-In Stand. While I Was Waiting, A Couple Of Staff Members Passed By & Didn’t Acknowledge Me.
I Didn’t Realize There Was Live Music On Saturdays And/Or The Weekends. It Was Pretty Loud, I Couldn’t Hear Myself Talk!!!
The Shrimp Ceviche (Marinated In Lime) & Shrimp Gobernador Tacos Was Fresh & Pretty Good.

Its difficult to find a good Mexican restaurant in OC that has good cafe de olla, serves food in traditional plates and cups made of barro, and food tastes just like moms house. First time coming here and probably the only place I will come for some good chilaquiles and salsa and chips. Food was delicous, no seasoning needed and just above all standards.
We also got the molcajete and we devoured it so no picture of that.

My friend recommended this place and I was eager to try it, but left very disappointed. Service was slow. The music was extremely loud and did not permit pleasant conversations. We ordered the chicharon with guacamole. Super overpriced for what we got. Not even home made corn tortillas. Just some lukewarm store bought tortillas. The guac was decent, some of the chicharones were a little off. The salsa and chips they gave us were very good. One of the best salsas I’ve had in a while. It was off putting when they brought my diet coke in a can…..no chance of refills unless I wanted to pay for another can. The soda can didn’t quite go with the vibe of the menus which were on the higher end. When they brought the guac and chicharones they didn’t bring any small plates or napkins. We had nothing to place our individual servings. We had to ask for napkins. We asked multiple times for them to turn down the music to no avail. We left without ordering a meal because the noise level was overbearing. My friend had a headache when we left. Good place if you like loud music and don’t plan on talking to anyone.

Went here for my mother’s birthday dinner there was 18 of us together. No one greeted dusk took them awhile to notice we were there. They were at the bar area talking when they finally came they told us we had to wait for the rest of of the party so now 20 minutes has went by and had to wait. The place empty so I am not sure why we had to wait. We finally were seated at our table and we order drinks alcohol and regular. The alcohol drinks took over 30 min even to get the beer so that not great the food came out all different time so that was not ideal as other had to wait to eat. We had to keep asking for the basic things like condiments and napkins chips and salsa and water. They service was really slow. The food was good and the atmosphere was great nice vibrate colors. The band was supposed to play at 7pm which did not happen so that was a waste we had to leave they didnt know what time they were going to perform. We left around 730 and still no live music. They really need to work on the service I feel since they are granted a 18% tip they lacked service. I dont like establishment that include a tip automatically it should earned and for this night and experience it was not earned. If I would know I would of paid cash and give them the tip I wanted. May try time place one more time before I write it off.

Whoever tells you that this restaurant is authentic Mexican and rancho style is delusional or from a non-latin country. Intrigued by a supposedly foodie in social media I came on and gave them a try. Spoiler alert, BIG FAIL!!! For a Mexican restaurant claiming authenticity and be playing nothing but Bad Bunny was the first sign, I should have walked out then. But, in the interest of fairness I stayed to try the food. Then the next problem reared it’s ugly head – SERVICE! Service was mediocre at best everyone working there didn’t seem interested in focusing on the needs of their customers. The FOOD, it was FAR from authentic, it was more of a Mexican fusion with i don’t know what. Don’t let the pictures deceive you. The morale is NEVER trust your local influencer! Gut feeling would have served me better in this case.
