We ordered 2 sirloin dinners. With salads and potatoes. The steaks were tainted. Smelled terrible and taste terrible. The waitress whom smelled it and said it was gross but she was very accommodating and took it to her manager. She came back and offered to get us something else and explainedthey had other complaints. My husband said he would try the ribeye. I said I was ok and finished my salad and had a couple bites of my potato but I could taste the metallic taste on it. They brought him his ribeye but no potatoes. The waitress said they won’t charge me for my salad and potato and take it off our bill. He started eating his ribeye but you could still smell it. He ate half because he was starving. Then a gentleman came up to us (didn’t introduce himself, I assumed it was the manager) and said their cooler had went down and was scrambling for meat. He said he called Chiefs and got the steaks there. I have bought many steaks for them (Chiefs) and not had any of them taste bad “tainted”. My husband said they left them out for too long and got warm. He referred to when you hang a deer and let it hang too long with warm temps it gets sour. Although they took my meal off the bill they charged him extra for the ribeye and never brought fresh potatoes. It was a terrible experience and absolutely not be returning! I would give them a 0 rating!

Decent food, fair prices, had meatloaf and mushroom chicken. next time maybe we will try the steaks..update: nice steaks! Ok, I updated to 5 stars, after multiple visits….while there are a few menu items that aren’t perfect, most knock it out of the park. Such as the steaks, country fried steak dinner, shrimp cocktail, etc. service is great… comfortable decor, cozy place. Classic, romantic, and quiet. A must try….

Awesome portions and good price point. I had an outstanding 12oz ribeye. It cut like butter and was delicious. Came with two sides, had to get the mash potatoes! That’s how you tell if a local place is good: 10 of 10. My husband got the Santa Fe burger and loved it. He was happy with its level of spicy and size of the burger. We both left stuffed. $50 for both of us with sweet tea and Two full meals.
The bathroom is not handicap accessible. It’s single stall but a good clean space. The building is old but you can see that it’s well kept. Worth driving out of our way for. I wish we had more time to explore the town because it looked so quaint and welcoming.

The place looked amazing the atmosphere was great but, the prices were steep considering the food quality. I ordered the days special bourbon glazed pork chops which sounded so good but the flavor just wasn’t there for the 20$ I threw at it dry and the sweet smoky flavor overpowered the meat itself. All in all not terrible. Just too pricey for what they offer

It was our first time there and probably last. The service was prompt and friendly. I really liked the atmosphere. The place has a lot going for it. The problem is the food was average at best. The wife had meatloaf and it was more loaf than meat and I’m pretty sure the gravy came out of a can. The broccoli looked like it been around a while. If they ever up their game in the food department it’d be a place I’d want to go back to.

Co-vid has not interfered with this wonderful place, There is no restrictions ,but none needed, the fireplace is on ,when chili, the help is outstanding ,you cannot see thier smiles, because of the mask they have to wear but you hear it in the mannerism and the joy, the atmosphere is that of an old Greek Mediterranean bar, spread out for family seating, the service is fast and warm friendly , the drinks we of choice ,with bottle beer being 3.75 a bottle ,the food is exquisite, it is a bit higher then most family restaurants , but the portions are large, A great place for that romantic place out and after dinner take a drive around town enjoy all the medievil cut homes , I love this place , and you will too!

Wanted to try to this place for a long time… sadly disappointed! I ordered nachos for appetizer , that should of been my first clue on how the food was going to be. Terrible! For dinner I ordered steak. Tasteless and you could tell very cheap cut of meat. Will not return! Oh almost forgot they still made me pay for broccoli and potatoes
