Bartender was awesome; he kept the drinks flowing. I’m told Buffalo wrap was “incredible” nachos were unremarkable (chips lacked crunch/were stale, cheese had already cooled off and solidified when I got them, with some sections of cheese still in their “shredded” state.) Salsa it came with was ON POINT though. Salads looked incredible! Will try next time! Fries were tasty! Old school pub vibe. Great place to watch sports!

Great place for salads, one will easily serve 2 to 3 people! I chose a Cobb salad and couldn’t even eat half of it! Everything was fresh and the salad was served at a perfectly chilled temp.

women at the bar when I saw one using Google to cheat for her team. I also said something to the moderator who was very cozy with them. I was dismissed, told that it wasn’t about the money, and our table was not given back our money as requested. The cheaters won all the prize money. I feel as if I was robbed and then gaslighted.

Just moved to the area and have been here a few times already. The place is nothing fancy but the food is awesome!! Burgers are great and the chicken cutlet sandwich is excellent. The chicken is perfectly crispy! We also tried the 3 pretzel appetizer with dipping mustard. So good!

This place is incredible. It’s always a fantastic vibe from the moment you walk in to the moment you walk out. The entire staff is upbeat and attentive, regardless of what day or time you go. The food is delicious, and you don’t lose any quality from item to item. I personally will jump between 4 or 5 different dishes each time I go, with my favorites being the CJ Nachos with Chili and the Chicken Quesadilla. I’m mostly just a beer drinker myself, but the selection at the bar seems fantastic and broad. 10/10 would recommend any meal on any day.

I’ve been here many times with my family, food has always been great. Went tonight with just my husband and used the CHS football card to get our free app with the purchase of 2 entrees. We were told a burger and chicken sandwich were not considered “entrees” so the free app was not honored. This was coming from the bar tender, not the owner. My family uses this all the time when we come here and the menu does not clearly state what is considered to be an “entree” vs not. Very disappointed that even when we questioned it and were clearly unaware there was any sort of difference it was not kindly honored. We still gave the bar tender a tip but this left a bad taste in my mouth. Customer service and kindness goes a long way. Fix the menu wording and label the couple bucks more expensive dinners “entrees” so no one else gets confused.

Great food and good service. The outdoor patio area was nice because the bar was so stuffy and crowded. Very limited parking behind the building maybe only 30ish spaces. Maybe you can park at the package store next door but probably not.

CJ Sparrows is a traditional American Pub serving up bar food classics in Cheshire, CT. Conveniently located on South Main Street(across from McDonald,s), CJ Sparrows offers a variety of delicious bar favorites in a classic, dimly lit, wood-rich environment.
I first heard about this place from the WINGADDICTs Community on social media and I immediately knew I had to try their wings….and so do you! They offer a variety of rubs and sauces including Buffalo, honey garlic, bbq, jerk, garlic parm and thai peanut. My personal favorite is the garlic parm, although they are all good my favorites are the honey garlic and garlic parm. The jerk is good as well but it is in no way spicy.
If you are getting sides you MUST have the hand made onion rings. They are up there with some of the best I have ever had. If you are in the area definitely check out this local gem. You will not be disappointed.

Great Pastrami on Rye. The owner is a very friendly soul. Good selection of craft drafts. The Counter Weight Oatmeal Stout is awesome. The owners wife roast the beans at The Bean Coffee Roasters down the street. I also scored an excellent Chicken Parm on Penne to go for the front desk clerk at my hotel. They have a large parking lot and entrance in the rear.
